The library is the first comprehensive library in the start-up area of Xiong'an New Area, and is also an important symbol of the high-quality development of education, science and technology and culture in Xiong'an New Area, with a total construction area of about 68,000 square meters, 7 floors above ground and 2 floors underground, a collection of about 1.5 million volumes, and about 3,500 reading seats.
Xiong'an New Area University Park Library is also a comprehensive modern library that mainly serves teachers, students, scientific researchers and surrounding citizens in the University Park area, and innovatively combines the functions of urban libraries and university libraries, the first and second floors serve the public, the third, fourth and fifth floors serve college students, and the sixth and seventh floors serve scientific researchers. The library of the University Park in Xiong'an New Area continues the three-section composition of traditional Chinese architecture, with horizontal extension of the roof, upright body and solid base, and the façade of the building is intended to form a double-layer skin, which not only creates a reading atmosphere of "boating in the sea of books and Wei editing", reflects the charm of traditional Chinese culture, but also meets the needs of space shading, and the soft curve outline of the cornice of the podium coincides with the "gentleness" and "tolerance" in Chinese culture, and the dignified atmosphere and momentum are extraordinary.
The top of the library building in the University Park of Xiong'an New Area is set up with a giant steel structure lighting roof, and the warm sunlight pours down, gathering soft light and uniform self-study reading space in the seven-storey atrium, the layout of the compact book collection auxiliary space, and the transparent corridor space are evenly arranged and distributed on both sides of the atrium, and the internal space forms a Chinese-style three-dimensional courtyard layout, and the setting of the atrium not only brings a good indoor light environment to the large and deep space of the library, but also creates a rich line of sight and an open and transparent reading atmosphere for the north-south symmetrical setback reading hall.

At the beginning of entering the site, the project team began to "run construction", and completed the preparation and approval of 20 construction plans within 15 days.
During the construction of the main structure, the floor adopts an unconventional ribbed plate type, which is a huge test for the quality of steel installation and concrete forming, and the project team actively carries out technical research, comparative analysis of a number of practical data, and finally adopts the technology of non-jointed dense rib shell to improve the construction efficiency and construction quality, and promotes the application of various projects in Xiong'an New Area.
Step into the equipment, tube wells and basements, the mechanical and electrical pipelines are scientifically and orderly arranged, and the indoor lighting and space are deeply integrated to create the simplicity, purity and beauty of the building itself. The project team spent a lot of time, the narrow walkway outside the basement equipment room, and the pipes of different heights and sizes were scattered, and the pipelines alone occupied one-fifth of the space in the equipment room, and the space for equipment installation and its accessories was also reserved, and the project team became a "storage master". By increasing the ceiling height, leaving enough space for the installation of pipeline equipment, skillfully using BIM technology to simulate the mechanical and electrical pipelines, forming a 3D animation, simulating the decorative effect, and innovating the combination of processing plant prefabricated processing and on-site modular installation, the construction process not only ensures the construction quality of one-time mechanical and electrical molding, but also effectively improves the construction efficiency.
