In the latest episode of the Power On newsletter, Bloomberg's Mark Gurman reveals some details about Apple's upcoming releases.

iPad Air

Since the fifth-generation iPad Air was powered by the M-series chip last March, the market has been excited about its future upgrades. Mark Gurman foresees that Apple may launch a new iPad Air in March this year and expand its screen size to 12.9 inches.

Just recently, foreign media 91mobiles has released a design preview of this large-screen iPad Air. These images show that the new 12.9-inch iPad Air retains the same exterior design as its predecessor, maintaining an all-screen design and a slim body.

However, in terms of the design of the rear camera module, it seems that the new iPad Air will adopt a different vertical camera layout from the previous generation, which looks more prominent.

Regarding this new large-screen product, source @Ross Young revealed that the 12.9-inch iPad Air has been in trial production since December last year.

The new iPad Air is likely to offer a better price point than the 12.9-inch iPad Pro, making it an attractive new option for those who aren't particularly looking for performance but prefer a larger-screen iPad.

iPad Pro

According to previous news, the new iPad Pro may be unveiled in the first half of this year with an OLED screen design. The Elec reports that the OLED display of the new iPad Pro has entered production and could be launched as early as April. Both the new 11-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pro are expected to feature an upgraded LTPO OLED panel with ProMotion technology and are expected to lower the refresh rate to 10Hz to improve battery life.

In addition, the new iPad Pro may feature tandem stacking OLED technology, which will dramatically improve the durability and brightness of the screen.

Mac

According to Mark Gurman, Apple plans to launch a MacBook Air with the new M3 chip this spring, including 13-inch and 15-inch models. At the moment, there may not be any significant changes to the new MacBook Air, other than the M3 chip upgrade. If these messages are true, the M1-chip MacBook Air may be removed from the official website as the new product is released.
