An online blogger recently released a video "Acne Institution Routine" revealing the consumption inducement and violations of a chain acne institution brand, which has attracted widespread attention. The video pointed out that the agency was suspected of using improper means to induce consumers to buy expensive acne products, including a freeze-dried powder mask of up to 8,800 yuan, but the composition was mainly corn starch.
Blogger Xiaoyi said that she spent more than 60,000 yuan on acne services at the institution, of which nearly 40,000 yuan was a loan operation through her mobile phone. The video also reveals the agency's use of promotional tactics, including recommending nightclubs to accompany alcohol to repay loans. Recordings of the loan company's call show that the collector threatened to inform Xiaoyi's family, teachers and classmates about the incident.
The video went viral on multiple social platforms, with more than one million views, triggering a strong response from consumers. So far, there have been 5,490 negative complaints, nearly one-third of which are related to loan problems.
Mr. Zhou of the legal department of the agency said in his response that he had negotiated a refund with Xiaoyi on January 4, but the impact on the brand was greater. He said that the company is working with local law enforcement to investigate the matter, hoping to give consumers an objective truth.
After the video was exposed, many netizens shared similar experiences and reported violations involving the agency. After the intervention of the Health Supervision and Law Enforcement Bureau of Qingshanhu District, Nanchang City, the store has returned the remaining amount of Xiaoyi, which is 22,355.43 yuan.
