He was born in the fifth year of Zhou Xiande (958 AD) after the fifth generation of Zhou Dynasty and died in the seventh year of Dazhong Xiangfu of Song Zhenzong (1014) at the age of 57. Yang Yanzhao is silent, but has a strong interest in military books, and is regarded by his father as the most potential son.
