During the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, the Qinghe District Party Committee of the Communist Party of China established two communication lines in the whole region: the east-west trunk line and the north-south trunk line. Among them, Changhuan Branch Station has built more than 20 underground transportation stations in Dongfu, Yinjiawu, Taipingguanzhuang, Yujiaying and other villages, and 5 sub-stations in Weizihe, Nanling, Beiling and other villages.

The traffic officers of the traffic stations in each district are: Hu Dezhao in the first district, Zheng Tongyun and Tian Chenghua in the second district, Geng Bingji (Gengqiao people) in the third district, Zhang Jingchun and Liu Xinguo (Laoguanzhuang people) in the fourth district, Hou Tuhuai (Longwangzhuang people) and Xing Chaowu (Zhang Zhuang people) in the fifth district, Xing Benrong, Xing Bentong and Xing Lewen (Juntun people) in the new fourth district. The traffic officers of the Changhuan County Party Committee of the Communist Party of China are Zhang Guoliang (from Caojiaying Village) and Feng Jiayuan (from Cao Village), and the traffic officers of the Huantai County Brigade are Zhang Dianliang (from Dongjiazhuang) and Liu Yunchang (from Houzhuang) and so on.

These traffic stations are the eyes and ears of the Communist Party and the Eighth Route Army, as well as the underground outposts fighting against the Japanese puppet army, spies, and traitors. Traffic officers often risk their lives to sneak into enemy-occupied areas or into enemy interiors to provide reliable information to the party, government, and military organs in Qinghe District, to deliver secret party and government documents, and to distribute party newspapers and periodicals. Even after being arrested by the enemy, he would rather die than give in, never divulge the party's secrets, and never betray his comrades.

Han Shumin is one of the outstanding representatives.

Han Shumin, female, formerly known as Li Airong, was born in 1903 in a middle-class peasant family in Taiping Guanzhuang, Zhou's hometown, Huantai County, and people are used to calling her "Aunt Han".

Taiping Guanzhuang, located in the edge of Chang (Mountain) Zou (Ping) Huan (Taiwan), is the only way to the base area of the Hebei and Lu border areas in central Shandong.

In 1943, the Changhuan Working Committee of the Communist Party of China decided to build a secret traffic station in Taiping Guanzhuang. The village party branch intends to let Han Shumin serve as a traffic officer. The party branch asked Han Shumin for her opinion, and she said: "Do whatever the party tells you to do, in order to eliminate the Japanese devils, even if you go up the knife mountain and go down to the sea of fire, I am also willing." ”

After accepting the task, in order to facilitate the activities, Han Shumin sold the clothes that he was reluctant to wear after many years of marriage, bought some coarse cloth and disguised himself as a cloth dealer, and went deep into the vicinity of the enemy's pillboxes such as Zhangdian, Mashang, Huancheng, and Yuanshang under the pretext of rushing to the market. The reliable address where Li Tiefeng, the county magistrate of the anti-Japanese democratic government of Linzi County, was detained after his arrest was inquired by Han Shumin.

The Japanese "Triangle Army" stationed in Zhangdian often disguised themselves as the "Eighth Route Army" and wantonly went to various villages to arrest and kill anti-Japanese cadres and masses, and the environment for underground transportation was very dangerous. Han Shumin did not have the slightest fear. One day, she received the task of sending a confidential party document to Yanjiazhuang, and calmly dealt with the enemy on the way.

In the winter of the same year, the enemy carried out a "campaign to strengthen public order" and implemented the "Ten Households Joint Sitting Law". The surrender faction in the 24th Brigade of Shandong Security became even more rampant and ferocious. In order to facilitate covert activities and cope with accidents, Han Shumin and her husband Han Qihai dug a hole in their cowshed to cover the revolutionary cadres passing by.

At dawn one day, Wang Liting, secretary of the district party committee, and Zhang Hua, director of the district women's federation, were studying and working at her home, when they suddenly heard a dog in the west of the village biting wildly. Suddenly, the enemy entered the village.

As soon as Wang and Zhang were covered in a cave in the ground, the enemy had already broken into her home. She was in a hurry, picked up the burden of selling cloth from the east house and ran down the street, and the three enemies chased after him and snatched the burden, competing for distribution. Another enemy broke into her barn and led a cow away. Afterwards, Wang Liting, secretary of the district party committee, and Wu Yunting, the head of the district, came to express their condolences to her, she said: "As long as the comrades are safe and okay, it is nothing to break some money." ”

In the spring of 1944, the traitor Wang Sanzi was very arrogant, and with more than 30 traitors, he rode bicycles to various villages every day to arrest people, threatening to arrest Zhang Hua.

In mid-May, Zhang Hua entrusted an acquaintance who rushed to the garden to carry a letter, asking Wang Luanying of Nanshiqiao to go to the Taiping Guanzhuang to report on Wang Sanzi's activities in various villages. Wang Luanying went to Han Shumin's house to pick up Zhang Hua at the agreed time. Unexpectedly, Wang Sanzi caught Xiao Du, the correspondent of the first district, and found a notice from him that Zhang Hua was going to the district for a meeting, and forced Xiao Du to lead him to Han Shumin's house to find Zhang Hua.

Zhang and Wang were talking, and Han Shumin's eldest son ran home from outside and said, "The enemy has come to our village from Yu's camp. Han Shumin hurriedly let Zhang Hua go down to the hole, and then went to the north house to cook on the fire, deliberately making a miasma. As soon as Wang Sanzi entered the gate, he saw Wang Luanying.

Wang Luanying is the cousin of Wang Sanzi. Wang Sanzi asked, "Are you looking for Sister Zhang Huagan?" Wang Luanying replied: "I went to the garden to visit relatives, and I passed by here to find water to drink." Wang Sanzi angrily picked up a wooden stick and broke Wang Luanying's arm. Then, he put the guillotine blade on Wang Luanying's neck and coerced her to hand over Zhang Hua. However, Wang Luanying insisted that she didn't see Zhang Hua.

Wang Sanzi rushed towards Han Shumin again, and started a fight without a head, saying while fighting: "Today, if you don't hand over Zhang Hualai, don't think about living." Han Shumin replied: "I didn't see Zhang Hua, and she didn't come." Wang Sanzi threw the letter from Xiao Du's body in Han Shumin's face and said, "She didn't come, whose letter is it." Wang Sanzi ordered the bandits to pour hot water into Han Shumin's nostrils and mouth, poured it in, and then pressed it out with a pole, forcing her to hand over Zhang Hua, but no matter how Wang Sanzi forced her, Han Shumin only had one sentence: "She didn't come, and I didn't see her." ”

Wang Sanzi pointed to the guillotine and threatened: "Today, if you don't hand over Zhang Hualai, I will kill you." Then he pulled out the guillotine blade and put it on her neck, and shouted hysterically: "Where are you hiding Zhang Hua? You will be limited to one minute, if you don't hand over Zhang Hualai, I will cut you in half." Han Shumin replied: "If you cut me into eight halves, I can't hand over Zhang Hualai." ”

At the critical moment, a traitor ran in from outside and said that the Eighth Road County Brigade was coming. As soon as these bad things heard that the county brigade was coming, they were all terrified. Wang Sanzi and his gang hurriedly got on their bicycles and fled in embarrassment. Han Shumin struggled to climb into the house and open the hole in the ground, and said, "Sister Zhang Hua, come up! ”

Zhang Hua climbed out of the hole and saw that she was tortured by the enemy and covered in mud and blood, and cried bitterly and said, "Auntie, you have suffered. Don't live at home these days, those executioners who kill people without blinking an eye will not give up......"

Han Shumin told her to leave quickly, as for herself, she was relieved, there was nothing to do, just take care of it.

Han Shumin is such a female warrior who is loyal to the party and the people, and would rather die than give in. She has successively shielded dozens of local cadres, including Zhang Guozhong, Li Yong, Sun Tiemin, Xiang Zizheng, Li Xiaoguang, Zhang Huiting, Wang Liting, Zhang Hua, Wang Gangfeng, Wang Luanying, Deng Ziyun, Wu Jipu, Wu Yunting, Zhang Jingguang, and Wei Zihou.

Although Han Shumin's home has been sacked countless times and she has been destroyed by the enemy many times, she has been fighting behind enemy lines until the victory of the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression and the War of Liberation. She has been commended by leading organs many times and has been deeply admired by the people. After the liberation, Han Shumin was elected as the director of the county women's federation, and later served as the director of the nursery school of the county government. He died in 1973.

In Huantai, there are many comrades like Han Shumin.

Zhang Chengxiang, an underground traffic officer, was a native of Taipingzhuang, District 5, Huantai County, and joined the party in 1938. In the autumn of 1941, he was arrested by the traitor Xing Meichen (former secretary of the district party committee) and taken to the Weigu puppet stronghold. Traitors and spies have repeatedly tortured people with leather whips, bars, and pepper water to extract confessions: "Are you a member of the Communist Party? Who is the branch secretary?" Zhang Chengxiang admitted, but his answer made the enemy's head big: "I am a real member of the Communist Party of China, and the branch secretaries are Zhu De and Mao Zedong." And over and over again, just one sentence. The agents couldn't help but suspect that he was a crazy man, and the interrogation could not continue. Later, the villagers ransomed him.

Zhang Zhenghou (a native of Yingxian Guanzhuang), a cadre of the Huantai County Youth Rescue Association, was arrested by the enemy in the Weigu puppet stronghold and tortured, but he never confessed to the enemy and was praised by the masses as an "iron warrior".

During the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, because the party organization strengthened the secrecy work and revolutionary integrity education for the military and civilians in Huantai, and implemented single-line leadership within the party, the party branches of six villages in Hutian Township, four villages in Shengping Township, five villages in Lianwu Township, and several villages such as Weigu and Houzhuang were basically preserved.

Wang Zilian, secretary of the party branch of Dongfu Village, was arrested by the enemy and tortured to extract a confession, he regarded death as his home, kept the party's secrets, and was sent to "Manchuria" by the Japanese army to do hard labor. However, all the party members in the village were unharmed.

These anti-Japanese heroes and martyrs deserve to be remembered by the people forever.
