Start by prying open the charger case along the case seam.
The folding prongs inside the housing are secured by screws.
The PCBA module is fixed by slotting inside the housing.
Extract the PCBA module, the module consists of two PCB soldering.
In the space inside the two PCBs, the capacitors are soldered, the transformer, and the components are glued and filled, and the filtered solid-state capacitors are wrapped with yellow silicone sleeve insulation.
There is a plastic separator between the primary stages for insulation.
The length of the PCBA module is about 33mm measured by vernier calipers.
The width of the PCBA module is about 27.5mm.

Soldering and splitting the two PCBs, it is found through observation that the 30W gallium nitride charger of Orange Fruit Electronics uses a Biyi micro KP22062A encapsulated gallium nitride chip and a KP40612 synchronous rectifier chip to form a wide-range output flyback switching power supply, and the output voltage is adjusted by the SW2301 protocol chip of Zhirong Technology through optocoupler feedback.
The bottom board is for power input and secondary synchronous rectification and protocol, solder fuse, NTC thermistor, SMD Y capacitor, secondary solder filter solid state capacitor and USB-C receptacle.

The rectifier bridge is soldered on the back of the PCBA module, model FMB30M, specification is 3A 1000V.
The side of the PCB is welded with high-voltage filter capacitors and differential mode inductors.
The two high-voltage filter capacitors are from Yide, and the specification is 27μF 400V.

The encapsulated GaN chip is from Biyi Micro, model KP22062A, and has an integrated 650V 360mΩ GaN switch tube. The chip has an integrated drive adjustment function that adjusts the drive speed when the switch is turned on to optimize the EMI performance of the system. The KP22062 operates at frequencies up to 500kHz and can operate in quasi-resonant mode over the full range.
The chip supports ultra-wide VDD power supply range of 9V-112V and supports 140/300/500kHz switching frequency. The chip directly detects the AC input voltage, supports the fast start function, the X-capacitor discharge function and the standby power consumption of less than 30mW, meets the requirements of Level 6 energy consumption, and integrates comprehensive protection functions.
