In order to stimulate the new vitality of the time-honored brand, in accordance with the "Several Measures of the Guangzhou Municipal State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission on Revitalizing the Time-honored Brand of the Municipal State-owned Enterprises", under the guidance of the Guangzhou Municipal State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, Guangzhou Guofa and its subsidiaries, The Science and Technology Innovation Guofa Fund, Lingnan Group, Guangzhou Commercial Holdings, Guangzhou Restaurant, Pearl River Piano, Guangzhou Pharmaceutical Group, Guangzhou Light Industry State-owned Assets Management Company, Guangzhou Yuexiu Capital Management Company, and two private enterprises, Guangzhou Food Shang Guowei Catering Company and Guangzhou Fengsheng Investment Company, jointly signed the " Guangzhou Time-honored Revitalization Fund Partnership (Limited Partnership) Partnership Agreement, which marks a substantial step forward in the establishment of Guangzhou Time-honored Revitalization Fund.

Interestingly, among the partners, Guangzhou Restaurant, Baiyunshan and Pearl River Piano are listed enterprises, of which Guangzhou Restaurant announced that the company intends to contribute 50 million yuan as a limited partner, accounting for 12.3762% of the capital contribution, and the share is the same as that of other 7 state-owned enterprises. Guangzhou Guofa actually leads the operation of the fund through Guangzhou Kechuang Guofa, which indirectly holds 90% of the shares, as a general partner, fund manager and executive partner, while two private enterprises, Food Shang Guowei and Fengsheng Investment, invest 2 million yuan and 1 million yuan respectively.

As early as the beginning of this year, Guangzhou Guofa has established the Guangzhou Time-honored Investment Company, which has unified the 3 Chinese time-honored brands (Lianxianglou, Panxi, Beiyuan), 7 Guangzhou time-honored brands (Lianxianglou, Panxi, Beiyuan, Datong, Huimin Hotel, Taipingguan, Huirulou) and other time-honored brands and assets under the name of the time-honored investment company for centralized management and operation.

Revitalize:

Emphasis is placed on institutional transformation and conceptual renewal

In fact, long-established enterprises are not only for-profit market players, but also an important carrier of Chinese culture, and their revitalization has both economic and cultural significance. So, how can we revitalize long-established enterprises? Emphasis on institutional transformation and concept renewal has become the consensus of Guangzhou's state-owned assets system, and at the Golden Fair, the partnership agreement signed by Guangzhou state-owned enterprises and private enterprises is a representative move.

For how to implement the revitalization project, the reporter noted that the investment direction of the partnership enterprises is mainly the long-established brands and related industries such as great health and large consumption, with the purpose of deepening the reform of state-owned assets and state-owned enterprises, developing a mixed-ownership economy, strategically investing in time-honored enterprises, and promoting the preservation and appreciation of state-owned assets. According to the design of the investment period, the partnership period is 7 years from the establishment of the partnership, of which the first 5 years are the investment period, and the next 2 years are the exit period, and with the unanimous consent of all the partners, the partnership can extend the above partnership period by 2 years, and no longer invest in new projects during the extension period.

In addition, Guangzhou Guofa, as the leading fund operation, also said that the next step will be to work with various cooperative units to give full play to the financial capital service function of the long-established revitalization fund, focus on cracking the bottlenecks such as mechanisms, innovation, financing and talents that restrict the development of the old-fashioned brand, revitalize the resources of Guangzhou's long-established brand, and promote the old-fashioned brand to rejuvenate its vitality.

According to the data, as of now, there are 133 long-established brands in more than 20 industries in Guangzhou, and 35 time-honored brands in China, mainly in catering food and light industrial daily necessities. The reporter noted that the long-established brands of state-owned enterprises in various cities are mainly sold within the market, most of which are concentrated in South China, and the sales channels of some products such as "Wang Laoji", "555", "Hutou Brand", "Pearl River Piano" and "Triangle Brand" have achieved national layout and even sold globally.
