Deepin Linux is a Debian-based Linux distro known for its beauty and utility. Now, to be at the forefront of AI trends, the developers of Deepin Linux have announced that they have begun to integrate AI capabilities into the desktop environment and its accompanying applications.
The AI integration comes in two flavors – an AI-powered image editing plugin and an AI coding assistant. Among them, the image editing plugin can be downloaded from the app store a plugin called Image Viewer AI, which can help users with features such as blurring and removing the background of the image, enlarging the image, coloring and adding filters, as well as options such as sketching and comic appearance.
The AI coding assistant can be logged in to deepin-IDE (Integrated Development Environment), and Deepin-IDE can be downloaded and used from the Deepin App Store. It serves the same purpose as GitHub's Copilot, supplementing code, checking for errors, and suggesting changes, not only writing code for developers, but also acting as the development environment itself.
