The Chongzuo border area where Huang Ri works borders the mountains and rivers of Vietnam, has no natural barriers, and there are many border passages, which makes it difficult to control and control. Chongzuo Pingxiang is a border city with the Zhuang nationality as the main body and multi-ethnic mixed population. In 2004, after Huang Ri graduated from the police academy and came to work in the grassroots police station, the director told him that in order to maintain border security and stability and effectively crack down on border crimes, he must learn to rely on the masses and contact the masses.
In order to be able to talk to the masses, Huang Ri has to pass the "language barrier" at the first level. He took advantage of the opportunity of the visit to take the initiative to talk to the people in the area under his jurisdiction and learn Zhuang language, and in more than two months, the border residents became familiar with this enthusiastic and studious "little yellow police officer".
In Huang Ri's more than ten years of law enforcement and case-handling career, he has always taken doing a good job in the work of the masses as a powerful starting point to boost the investigation and cracking of cases, and as soon as he has time, he will run to the border villages, mingle with the border people, and through the villagers to pull the parents and sue the short, narrow the distance with the masses, and enhance the feelings with the masses, many border people have spontaneously provided Huang Ri with clues to various cases, and provided "source living water" for Huang Ri to solve a series of major cases.
By chance, Huang Ri visited Liao Xingtun in Shangshi Town, Pingxiang City, and learned from chatting with border residents that a gang often used the cover of night to secretly organize foreigners to smuggle into the country. Huang Ri changed into civilian clothes and went to the border of Liao Xingtun for several months, mastered and figured out the behind-the-scenes network of the gang, and led a team to intercept two suspicious buses in Nanning, Guangxi, and seized more than 100 foreign nationals who entered the country illegally, and the criminal gang was all arrested. The detection of the case has produced a strong deterrent effect in the local area, and there has been no smuggling at the Liaoxingtun border so far.
"Only by winning the understanding and support of the masses can we build an iron wall of border security!" In 2021, after Huang Ri officially served as the instructor of the brigade, no matter how busy he was, he still loved to run to the homes of the border people whenever he was free.
Under the influence and drive of Huang Ri, the police of the Pingxiang Border Management Brigade relied on the masses, closely followed the masses, and contacted the masses. In September 2021, Huang Ri was transferred to the political instructor of the Pingxiang Border Management Brigade, and in addition to doing political work, he went to the border police station and the front-line border police office under the jurisdiction of the brigade many times, and also taught many years of experience in handling cases such as "snake catching" to the front-line police, and jointly built an iron wall on the border.
In February 2022, the Pingxiang Border Management Brigade mastered a clue about a drug-related suspect in a border village, and under the careful guidance of Huang Ri, the police of the special case team accurately sorted out the clues, dug deep along the line, and finally locked the suspect. On March 17, 2023, the Pingxiang Border Management Brigade and the Pingxiang Municipal Public Security Bureau and other departments formed a joint task force to close the case, and successively arrested 5 drug trafficking suspects in the early morning of that night, and seized 30 pieces of heroin.
"What kind of drugs? Say I'm selling drugs? I don't know what's in the bag!" The suspect looked panicked and didn't dare to look directly at the policeman in front of him, but he showed a look of "sworn to die and didn't know," and the interrogation of the case reached a deadlock.
"No matter how hard the bone is, we have to gnaw it off!" After learning that the case was deadlocked, Huang Ri immediately organized investigators to hold a meeting to sort out and analyze the internal division of labor and various evidence of the criminal gang, and finally found a breakthrough and clarified the direction of interrogation.
Tu Huiting, who had been an investigator under Huang Ri for 10 years, commented on him, "He has always adhered to the principle of sparing no effort when leading apprentices, but in the face of honor, he gave more people the opportunity to receive awards for meritorious service."
