"Moist Oriental" is a huge fine brush painting

Sponsored by Jiangnan Times, Jiangsu Flower and Bird Painting Research Association, and Jiangsu Collectors Association, organized by Xinhua Cultural Investment, Ji Tainian Art Museum, and Dahe Art Space, and guided by Xinhua Press Media Group, the national premiere exhibition and press conference of Ji Tainian's huge fine brush paintings will be held at 14:30 on January 8, 2024 at Xinhua Omnimedia Art Museum (3rd Floor, Building 1, Xinhua Press Media Group, No. 369 Jiangdong Middle Road, Jianye District, Nanjing), and the exhibition will be held from January 8 to January 9, 2024.

The huge painting of "Hydration of the East" is about 10 meters wide and 3 meters high, and there has never been such a huge painting of flowers and birds in history. "Moist Oriental" uses lotus and red-crowned cranes as materials, and tries to create typical oriental imagery with the help of their profound traditional cultural implications. A total of sixteen cranes with different postures appeared in the picture, and the one on the far right of the picture took a slight step in the air, as if coming from afar, and it would not fall. The other fifteen only have a long roar, some look up to the sky and howl, some will fly but not fly, some will stop but not stop, some are accompanied by two and two, and some are in groups of three or five, high and low, gathering and scattering. Although the fifteen cranes have different postures, they are basically facing the east, that is, the crane in the air on the far right of the picture, as if worshipping it, looking up at it, and welcoming it. This kind of starry moon-like imagery is the infinite yearning and transcendence of the spirit that Mr. Ji Tainian is trying to create, the tossing and wandering of the soul, and the life consciousness that transcends the objective world and is in line with the inner spirit and emotion, and "Moist Oriental" also points out this theme. In the picture, the morning fog is vague, the flowing water is murmuring, the lotus leaves are in the fields, and the lotus flowers are swaying slightly, quiet and beautiful, with a kind of eternal meaning. The addition of cranes breaks the static of the picture, and a group of creatures brings vitality and vitality to the quiet environment, and their gathering, dispersion, ups and downs enliven the picture and enrich the artistic conception.

During the creation of the work "Moist Oriental", Ji Tainian successively consulted Mr. Yu Jigao, Mr. Yan Gongda, Mr. Song Yulin, Mr. Yang Yaoning, Mr. Lu Yuezi, Mr. Xu Jianming, Mr. Xu Peichen, Ms. Wang Zongying, Ms. Tan Hongping, etc., and the artists talked about some of their own feelings and suggestions, especially Mr. Yan Gongda's suggestions were detailed and clear, and the world's largest light industry painting "Moist Oriental" created by the contemporary scholar Ji Tainian was inscribed "Moist Oriental" on the huge work of 300 square feet of the world's largest light industry painting "Moist Oriental" Four big characters and an ancient poem.
