Yugoslavia's unofficial lawsuit, which is not very hurtful and humiliating, is a heavy blow to Israel

Since the beginning of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, South Africa has repeatedly accused Israel of ending its military operations in Gaza immediately, but Netanyahu's government has ignored South Africa's warnings. In response to the inaction of the Israeli side, South Africa has decided to take concrete action to prevent this round of conflict. Recently, South Africa filed a lawsuit with the United Nations International Court of Justice (ICJ) to launch charges against Israel for "genocide". South Africa believes that Israel has committed a genocide against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, in violation of the provisions of the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide.

To that end, South Africa urged the International Tribunal to ensure that Israel complied with the relevant conventions and to avoid greater, more serious and irreparable harm to the Palestinian people in the future. Frankly, it is not surprising that South Africa has supported Palestinian statehood for decades and has compared the plight of blacks to Palestinians today, so it makes sense to accuse Israel now. In doing so, it would be difficult to pose a substantial threat to Israel, and the International Court of Justice would not be able to compel anything to do about it.

South Africa, however, has filed a direct complaint against Israel for violating the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide, a move that is insignificant and humiliating. This is a heavy blow from South Africa to Israel, you know, this treaty was created after the Holocaust after World War II, specifically to protect the Jews, or Israel. But South Africa is now turning the treaty to protect Israel against Israel, which is a great humiliation for Netanyahu's government.

But who can blame for this? The reason why Israel has come to this point today is entirely of their own making, first a number of countries have broken diplomatic relations with Israel one after another, then the Malaysian government has openly imposed sanctions on Israel, and now, South Africa has also stood up. It can be seen from this that the vast majority of countries in the world are now dissatisfied with Israel to the extreme. This not only indicates that Israel is facing increasing international pressure, but also means that the authority of the United States has collapsed in the current round of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.

With the full support of the United States, some ordinary regional powers dare to make a move against Israel, which clearly shows the decline of American hegemony as a whole, as well as the rise of developing countries. On the whole, in this round of the Palestinian-Israeli dispute, due to the tightening of international relations, the major powers have exercised restraint in order to avoid the situation from getting completely out of control. On the contrary, some ordinary regional powers have begun to exert their influence, and have begun to fight for their own rights and interests, as well as their own approved rules. South Africa's move will inevitably attract the attention of more countries, because Israel's behavior has already angered the nerves of the international community, and their cruel acts will eventually be duly punished.
