Fukangan was born in the 19th year of Qianlong, his aunt was the Qianlong Emperor's Yuan Pei Empress Fucha, and his father was the chief military minister Fucha Fu Heng.
Concubine Shu Yihuan in "The Biography of Ruyi" is based on Qianlong's Concubine Shu Nalan, who is Fukangan's aunt.
In other words, Fukangan's parents and families are both serious royal relatives.
Qianlong liked this nephew and nephew even more.
At that time, not long after Fukangan was born, Qianlong said to Fu Heng:
"You have two sons, this one will be carried into the palace, and I will raise it myself!"
Therefore, Fukangan was raised by his uncle Qianlong.
The country's senior leaders are all close relatives of Fukangan, and it is conceivable how noble Fukangan's identity is.
But although Fukangan was born rich and noble, people do not come to enjoy happiness in this life!
Fukangan grew up under the cultivation of Qianlong since he was a child, and is an all-round talent who is proficient in calligraphy and Chinese, and is skilled in archery and horse riding.
Most of Fukangan's achievements are reflected in the military aspect.
In the 38th year of Qianlong, 20-year-old Fukangan went to the front line in Sichuan and participated in the famous "Battle of Jinchuan".
He often sneaks up on enemy strongholds on rainy nights to capture the sleeping enemy alive.
He is also good at climbing cliffs, taking shortcuts to kill enemy troops in seconds, and creating a brilliant record of "29 wins and 0 losses" on the front line.
In "Huanzhu Gege", Forkang is captured by the Burmese and tortured to the point that life is worse than death.
But the fact is that at that time, whether it was Myanmar or Vietnam, when they heard the name of Fukangan, they had to be obedient.
In the 56th year of Qianlong, the Gurkha Kingdom (present-day Nepal), located on the southwestern border of the mainland, invaded Tibet.
After receiving Pingkuo's order, Fukangan led a large army from Qinghai to Tibet.
Along the way, Fukangan and many soldiers were tortured by altitude sickness and dizzy and their skin was swollen.
But with astonishing perseverance, they set out at three o'clock in the morning every day, marched for nearly eighteen hours, and entered Lhasa in only thirty-nine days.
After a comprehensive investigation in Lhasa for more than two months, Fukangan launched a general offensive and drove the enemy out of Tibet in less than 10 days.
After that, Fukangan led his army over the Himalayas and almost reached Kathmandu, the capital of Gorkha.
Only then did the Gurkha realize that the country was about to die, so he surrendered without saying a word and became a vassal state of the Qing Dynasty.
Fukangan has made great achievements in his life, and Qianlong also loves this man he raised with his own hands.
Qianlong successively gave Fukang Anwu Yingdian University Scholar, hereditary first-class light car captain, first-class Jiayong Gong and other honors.
However, Qianlong's preference for Fukangan made many people begin to doubt:
"Could Fukangan be Qianlong's illegitimate son?"
In fact, this statement is pure nonsense.
As we all know, Qianlong's sons are relatively mediocre in talent.
Yongyan, the only one who can barely get his hands on it, is also "taller in the stalk", and he is not very looked down upon by Qianlong.
Compared with Qianlong's sons, Fukangan is simply a dragon and phoenix among people, and it is normal for Qianlong to favor him because of this.
But Qianlong didn't expect that Fukangan would actually walk in front of him anyway.
In the 60th year of Qianlong, the Miao people in Guizhou broke out a large-scale uprising because they were dissatisfied with the exploitation and oppression of the Qing government.
The 42-year-old Fukangan was once again ordered to go to quell the rebellion.
Fukangan's performance was as stable as ever, and in less than a year, he basically put down the uprising.
However, in May of the first year of Jiaqing, Fukangan died of illness in the barracks at the age of 43 due to miasma and fatigue from the march.
But Fukangan is an iron warrior who can march against the plateau climate and march to Lhasa in only 39 days, how can his body be so vulnerable?
According to Fucha Dunchong, a descendant of Fukangan, Fukangan was actually killed by the Miao rebels.
It is said that the leader of the Miao rebel army at that time, seeing that the uprising was about to fail, accepted the persuasion of Fukangan to surrender, and then was sent to the capital.
At that time, Fukangan had already negotiated with this leader that as long as he surrendered, his life would definitely not be in danger.
But Fukangan never expected that as soon as the leader entered the capital, he would be executed.
What's even more bizarre is that the entourage who followed the leader into the city was given the green light all the way, and finally returned to Guizhou with the leader's head.
As soon as the rebel soldiers saw the leader's head, they flew into a rage and scolded Fukangan for being a treacherous villain.
After that, the rebel army set up a Hongmen banquet and pretended to invite Fukangan to inspect Miao Village.
Fukangan had no idea of the leader's killing, and only brought a few retinues to the banquet.
During the banquet, another leader of the rebel army suddenly took out a plate, which contained the head of the slain leader.
The leader looked at Fukangan angrily, and suddenly raised his arms and shouted, asking everyone to avenge the unjust death of the leader.
Fukangan was defenseless at that time, and was directly hacked to death by the rebels who swarmed up, and finally died without a body.
This matter can be explained so clearly and clearly by Fukangan's descendants, it can be seen that Fukangan is likely to die.
The reason why the history books record that Fukangan died in the barracks is probably because of his noble status, but he died so embarrassingly that he would be ridiculed.
And the people who wanted to put Fukang to death were his uncle Qianlong, or Jiaqing, who had just succeeded to the throne and was afraid of Fukangan's high power, or other ministers who were jealous of Fukangan?
Just as no one will ever know how the leader's entourage returned to Guizhou with the leader's head all the way unimpeded, there will be no answer to the cause of Fukangan's death.
But in any case, Fukangan's outstanding military exploits are enough to make him shine in the annals of history.
A good man has ambitions in all directions, and Fukangan can obviously choose to lie flat and be a merry talent.
As a result, he chose a journey that was more adrift than ordinary people, and experienced a turbulent but brilliant life, which is really the god of war.
