Hubei Daily News (reporter Liu Yu, correspondent Yang Pengcheng) "These things are only our personal memories at home, and they can inherit the revolutionary spirit and be very valuable when they are placed here." On July 6, Wang Shifang came to the Zhang Ancestral Hall in Zhao Tang Town, Anlu City for the third time, and saw that the relics of her father Wang Libo were carefully placed in the ancestral hall, and her eyes were red.
Zhang Qiwen, the manager of the Zhangjia Ancestral Hall, introduced that the Zhangjia Ancestral Hall was the site of the first independent branch of the Communist Party of China in the Anbei area during the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, and was known as the "Source of Anti-Japanese Resistance in Central Hubei". In October 1938, Party member Wang Libo was ordered to carry out anti-Japanese revolutionary activities in the area of Zhao Jiapeng and recruitEd Zhang Jisheng and others to become Communist Party members. In the spring of 1939, they took the oath of membership in the Zhangjia Ancestral Hall and established the Party Branch of the Zhang Ancestral Hall of the Communist Party of China, which was the first independent Party branch established by the Communist Party of China in the anbei (formerly the junction of Anlu, Yingshan, and Xiaogan), and on this basis, gradually developed and grew into an anti-Japanese democratic base area of Zhao Jiapeng.
In 1982, Zhang's Ancestral Hall was listed as a key cultural relics protection unit in Anlu County, and was listed as "the former site of the first independent party branch in Anbei Area - Zhang Clan Ancestral Hall". After the renovation in 2012, one of the rooms was used as the former residence of Wang Libo, and the other room was used as a memorial to the activities of the party branch of the Zhang Ancestral Hall, and "Introductions" were produced respectively.
In October 2018, the 77-year-old Wang Shifang came to Zhao Tang Town and stood in front of the Zhang Ancestral Hall for the first time to follow in his father's footsteps.
This time, Wang Shifang also specially brought her daughters and grandchildren to relive and inherit the revolutionary spirit together.
