"There are more than 11,000 manufacturing enterprises in Huishan District, and the manufacturing population accounts for 57% of the total employed population. The relevant person in charge of the Human Resources and Social Security Bureau of Huishan District said that as an intelligent manufacturing area in Wuxi, the shortage of skilled talents in Huishan District needs to be solved urgently. In 2022, Huishan District issued the "Initiative for the Establishment of the "Huishan Craftsman Fund", attracting the active participation of 52 private enterprises and raising a total of 107 million yuan. To promote the construction of the high-quality development system of "Huishan craftsmen", this year, 5 "craftsman mentors" have formed 5 cross-enterprise new apprenticeship teams, and at the same time established the "Huishan Craftsman College", with the concept of openness, sharing and online, and set up a craftsman cloud classroom for "cloud apprenticeship".
