Xia Lei: Mourning the poet Wang Lei

author:Beijing media person

Dancing Chinese New Year's Eve

Colorful in the cold wind

A text message from Mr. Jintang

It made me suddenly dumbfounded

Wang Lei is gone

Just tonight—"

Xia Lei: Mourning the poet Wang Lei

moment

Fast forward 38 years

Qingming Poetry Club

On the shores of Lake Silamulun

Your passionate recitation of "Liaohe Xing"

True Image Clearing Stream

Nourish the hearts of students

You've been aspiring since childhood

Left Liaocheng at the age of 14

Enlisted in the Anti-Japanese War

You Xi literature as a child

On horseback, he also recites the scriptures

At the age of 25, he entered Yan Garden

The youthful Peking University

Leave your "Yanyuan Poet" beautiful talk

The year of graduation

from major institutions

to the Beijing Federation of Literary and Art Circles

Tempting olives are thrown at you

But for the sake of difficult classmates

You actually put your quota for staying in Beijing

Selfless dedication

You feel like you're seeing a grassland with a sea of flowers

It is as if you hear a sincere call from a herdsman

Negative Kei goes north

resolutely

Rooted in the grassland

Go deep into the border

You use "Trail of Flash"

Measure the vast Inner Mongolia Plateau

You sweat with your hard work

Watering the popular "Paradise in the World"

"Trace of the Thin Garden", "Selected Poems of Wang Lei"

Which work came out

Not all of them are closely following the pulse of the times

66 years in the grassland

Breathe with herders and share weal and woe

With ageless brushstrokes

The rapid development of the Acura grassland

"Living belongs to the people

Dead and buried in the grassland"

It's your life's work

It is your iron oath

Drafted in Beijing on January 2, 2024
