IT Home reported on January 2 that the luxury brand Caviar recently launched a customized version of the finely woven twill protective case, limited to 999 pieces worldwide, with a starting price of $1130 (IT Home note: currently about 8046 yuan), which is more than 19 times more expensive than Apple's official finely woven twill protective case.
Caviar has launched custom cases for the iPhone 14 Pro, iPhone 14 Pro Max, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max in three colors: orange, blue, and brown, with prices ranging from $1130 to $2030.
Apple has been criticized for not being durable since the launch of the finely woven twill case, and Caviar says that by adding leather over the top of the finely woven twill case, it feels softer and more durable.
Caviar says the leather used is the same leather used in Hermès' Birkin, and the case features the Caviar logo in 24-karat gold.
