Folded North Korea
For this world-famous general, his highlight may have been accepting Japan's surrender after World War II and becoming their "Emperor", and later becoming the commander-in-chief of the "United Nations Army", leading the troops to organize the Inchon landing.
At that time, MacArthur could be said to be in the limelight, he was a great war hero in the hearts of Americans, a World War II veteran who symbolized the American spirit, and the most popular military commander, but it didn't take long for such highlights to be completely punctured in North Korea.
At the beginning of the Korean War, MacArthur, who led the United Nations forces, defeated the North Korean side many times after landing at Incheon, instantly reversing the original disadvantage of the South Korean side, and also advanced northward, with a great tendency to occupy the entire Korean Peninsula.
Even the United Nations forces frantically invaded the northeastern part of the mainland and the border areas with North Korea, causing great harm to the local people, and perhaps MacArthur himself thought that China would definitely not dare to enter the war, and even if it did, it would not be his opponent.
But reality taught him a lesson, even on the first anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, the mainland still decided to send the People's Volunteers to aid North Korea, and crossed the Yalu River on October 19, 1950.
MacArthur was very proud at this time, and when he saw Marshal Peng Dehuai, commander-in-chief of the mainland's volunteer army, he didn't take it to heart at all, thinking that he was just a Chinese peasant who had attended a private school for a few years, and even remembered the wrong name in his memoirs.
It was such a unit that he despised, but the United Nations army was defeated and retreated, and after the first and second battles to resist US aggression and aid Korea, it completely smashed the US army's plan to occupy the whole of Korea.
Prior to this, MacArthur had made a bold statement that "I want the boys to go home for Thanksgiving" but it ended in failure, and then he said that he would end the offensive before Christmas, but the result was still unsuccessful, and MacArthur realized that the problem was wrong.
However, at this time, he did not think that it was the strength of the volunteer army, or that there was a problem with his own level, but blamed the responsibility on the implementation of the subordinates, after all, the United States, as the strongest industrial country in the world, naturally has no need to say much about its strength.
However, he did not know at all that when facing the tanks and planes of the US army, the mainland People's Volunteers braved the cold wind of tens of degrees below zero, ate "fried noodles" in the snow to ambush them, and braved the spirit of not being afraid of sacrifice to confront them.
Under the command of Peng Dehuai and other central generals, the Volunteer Army adopted a variety of excellent tactics and thwarted the actions of the United Nations Army many times, but at the same time paid very tragic sacrifices, according to statistics, nearly 200,000 soldiers fell on the Korean battlefield.
After the successful recapture of Pyongyang in the second campaign, MacArthur's military myth also came to an end, and in 1951 he was ordered to return to the United States, and was dismissed by President Truman, who replaced Ridgway as commander-in-chief.
But in fact, MacArthur was not convinced, although he felt the strength of the volunteers, but he did not want to admit his defeat, and repeatedly advocated a strike on the northeast of the mainland, and also hoped that the United States could use the atomic bomb, this kind of crazy expansion of the war also became one of the fuses for his dismissal.

India cries
On April 11, 1951, MacArthur was dismissed by U.S. President Harry S. Truman and recalled to the United States because of his defeat in the Korean War, but the return of the failed five-star general still caused many Americans to cheer.
Many took to the streets to get the United States to abandon the dismissal order, and even opposed and criticized President Harry S. Truman, causing his approval ratings to plummet.
But even this did not shake the decision of the US government, and on April 19 of the same year, MacArthur reported his farewell speech in Congress, saying that "veterans do not die, but gradually wither." ”
But in fact, MacArthur's military level is still mixed, after all, from World War II to North Korea, there are not many outstanding records, and he has reached this position today because his relationship is strong enough.
However, although the military level is average, he is still very experienced in political propaganda, such as often wearing a military coat that is different from others, carrying a corn cigarette stick with him although he does not smoke, and training these people well in Japan and South Korea.
After retiring, MacArthur gradually calmed down, and after appreciating the combat effectiveness of the volunteers, he would evaluate India's attempt to start a war with China in his later years: There must be something wrong with his brain.
In fact, this sentence is also very accurate, India had coveted Tibet and other places on the mainland for a long time before this, and the "McMahon Line" drawn by Britain after the end of World War II was used by them as a reason for illegally encroaching on mainland territory.
India has slowly advanced its outposts into the Indian region, and has adopted the method of encroachment step by step to invade the Tibetan region of the mainland, and it is not once or twice.
The other side has even begun to provoke the mainland, claiming that Tibet, Yunnan and other places are their territory, and China will feel its anger if it dares to resist.
In fact, the leaders of the mainland at that time were also very puzzled, after all, Nehru, who was also a third world country striving for national independence, and Premier Zhou Enlai jointly advocated the "Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence" and also attended a variety of diplomatic conferences.

Therefore, when Nehru starred in provoking the mainland, there was a question that Chairman Mao had not figured out for 10 days and 10 nights: Why did India invade the mainland? And the fundamental reason for this was probably their territorial ambitions.
India began to clamor frantically before the mainland counterattacked, and Nehru first declared that he would have military force against China, and that he would "wipe out the Chinese army from the Chinese territory occupied by the Indian army." The then Indian defense minister also claimed to fight China to the last man and the last gun.
Even in India, which encouraged "you can shoot as long as you think the Chinese army is a threat", and in doing so, many border guards on the mainland have been injured, and Indian officials have repeatedly said that "the war will end in India's complete victory" and other acts of opening champagne before it has been opened.
Therefore, after the mainland warned many times and the negotiations were fruitless, they directly offered a "diplomatic trilogy": Don't say that you can't bear it unexpectedly, you can't bear it, you don't need to endure it anymore, and you officially start a war with the other side.

Counterattack against India
As everyone knows, in the early years of the founding of the People's Republic of China, the mainland's army was among the best in the world, and it won great victories in the battles to resist US aggression and aid Korea, to resist France and aid Vietnam, to suppress bandits at home, and to liberate Tibet.
However, India does not seem to know about these things at all, so it regretfully launched an attack on the mainland, and in their eyes, it may be that the defeated US troops in North Korea are not as good as their own at that time, let alone the People's Liberation Army.
Therefore, after making so many cruel remarks and going through various provocations and territorial violations, the mainland announced a war of self-defense and counterattack against India, only to find out that the other side was really here to be funny.
At the beginning of the war, India's supply situation was not even as good as that of crossing the mainland of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, and cotton clothing, ammunition and other items were not sufficient.
Moreover, when the mainland fought on the plateau, the preparation time was not as sufficient as India's, and India invaded the Tibetan region of the mainland one after another from 54 years ago, and built many outposts, but India's final state was far from that of the PLA.

After that, the mainland also won the battles of Xishankou, Walong, Rimijin and other areas one after another, and approached New Delhi, the capital of India, in a straight line.
At this time, many foreign reporters found that while almost all of India was covering the war, and the people were excited, the mainland was very calm at this time, but there was very little coverage of the war.
According to Indian newspapers and official sources, it was the PLA's 10-fold man-mass tactics that led to the army's retreat, and the Indian soldiers were very heroic in defeating the other side.

Prior to this, India was an advocate of the Non-Aligned Movement, and its status was equal to that of the leader of the alliance, but now the leader of the alliance is saying that it wants to form an alliance, which is a flagrant violation of its own principles, then there should be no such leader.
Therefore, Nehru's wave of operations directly completely ruined India's image for many years, and the third world countries almost did not believe him.
At the same time, he also asked for arms aid like the United States, the Soviet Union, and the United Kingdom, after all, the status of the leader of the alliance can be lost, but the front line can not be lost.
And when these Indian troops who got European and American weapons were overjoyed, they found that there was no difference between having and not having them, and Nehru was particularly fond of his favorite general Kaul, and the Indian army was still constantly defeated under his wave of operations.
In the end, within only a month of the war, the PLA advanced to the vicinity of the capital, New Delhi, and in this way, India turned a war of aggression into a war to defend the capital.
At this time, after achieving the strategic goal, our army also decided to withdraw its troops and return to China, which was originally an act of paying attention to a point-to-point approach, but when it came to the Indians, it became a contempt for them, and it still did not let go of this matter for so many years.

At the beginning of the founding of New China, the People's Volunteers on the mainland used their bodies to resist the powerful firepower of the United Nations Army, and won the final victory, showing the prestige of the founding of the country.
Later, in the self-defense counterattack against India, India also ridiculed the mainland's soldiers as "child soldiers", and the counterattack against Vietnam was also said to have not fought for a long time, but in the end they could show unparalleled strength.
