Nevertheless, the treasure tracking has never stopped, and today, when the kingdom of heaven has been destroyed for more than a hundred years, there are still a large number of legends and clues, and the folk legend is boiling, never interrupted, and even today, many people are still trying to find out their whereabouts. Among them, in the early 1930s, the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom rebel Liu Weizhen, who buried the treasure at No. 61 Grain Road Street in Wuchang, Hubei Province, was excavated, leaving more mysterious colors.
Liu Weizhen, born in Yangyingling Village, Huangzhou District, Huanggang, Hubei Province, to a family of teachers, studied at an early age, and in 1853, the Taiping Army captured Wuchang and swept through the surrounding counties. At this time, he was still a primary school student, preparing to take the second level of the exam: the county exam. Captured by the Taiping Army on the way to the examination, he joined the Taiping Army. Because of his excellent writing, good writing, and cleverness, this kind of talent was lacking and needed in the Taiping Army, so he was quickly promoted and reused. He became the deputy general of Lai Wenguang's department under King Chen Yucheng, assisted by Lai Wenguang, and led his troops to guard Puzhou, which is today Puchun. He was deeply respected by the leadership, and handed over all the goods and salaries in the army to him to manage.
In February of the eleventh year of The Qing Dynasty (1861), King Chen Yucheng sent a brave general, under the guise of the banner of the Qing army, to seize the city of Huangzhou, and used Huangzhou as a base area to build a fortress and a trench for a long-term plan and build military facilities. At this time, the governor of Qinghuguang, Wen Wen, ordered his troops to attack the Taiping Army strongholds around Huangzhou, and after several battles, due to the disparity in strength, the Taiping Army suffered heavy casualties, Chen Yucheng ordered the reduction of troops, and moved the troops to the city of Huangzhou, which was tall and deep, and the city of Huangzhou, which was easy to defend and difficult to attack, was stubbornly waiting for help, and although the Qing army was besieged on all sides, it could not be attacked for a long time, and the two sides formed a confrontation situation.
At this juncture, Liu Weizhen, who led his troops to garrison Puzhou, learned the news that the Taiping Army in Huangzhou had been defeated and besieged, and the cunning man moved his mind, seeing that the general trend of the Taiping Army had gone, he decided to surrender to the official palace and seek a bright future, secretly sending his henchmen to contact the governor of Huguang, Guan Wen, to reward him with a promotion to make a fortune, and to respond with the camera.
Therefore, Liu Weizhen disguised the rescue troops and tried to lure the Huangzhou defenders out of the city to break through, the defenders had no idea of Liu Weizhen's rebellion, thinking that it was really the rescue troops coming, so they were caught in a treacherous plan, just when the generals in the city led the troops to break through, Liu Weizhen led them to the vicinity of the Santai River, and counterattacked, at the same time, a large number of officers and troops ambushed the troops, and the Taiping Army generals who rushed out of the siege were caught off guard, either killed or drowned, and the water did not flow, and its tragic situation was unbearable. Chen Yucheng's main force lost tens of thousands of people, the river was cut off by corpses, and Huangzhou was also captured by Qing troops. After this Taiping army was destroyed, the Qing army did not eat a word, and Liu Weizhen was promoted to the chu army's Zhongyi camp as the name of the governor (from Yipin).
After these battles, Liu Weizhen robbed the Taiping Army's military salary treasury and transported it home with a mule and horse, becoming a huge wealth in Huanggang, and the money for a time was so much that even he himself could not count. What is he doing with this ill-gotten gain?

However, due to his excessive fascination with debauchery, he lost his body. Although he sought medical treatment in many ways, he never got up again. The large amount of wealth he personally buried also became a mystery with his death, and no one has ever known that after Liu Weizhen's death, decades have passed, among which a villa at No. 61 Grain Road Street in Wuchang City, where the treasure is buried, was divided into two halves and sold to two households, one named Kong Geng, and the other named Peng Younan.
