Mr. Jiao, born in 1988, is a native of Zhengding, Shijiazhuang, and is currently working at the construction site. His relationship with the China Bone Marrow Bank began in 2017. At that time, he had just joined the work force, and he came across a blood donation vehicle on the road, so he did not hesitate to complete the first voluntary blood donation in his life. At the second blood donation, he learned that donating hematopoietic stem cells could save lives, so he took the initiative to collect blood samples and join the China Bone Marrow Bank.

For 16 years, Mr. Jiao has been silently waiting for the news of the successful matching. Until November this year, Mr. Jiao, who was working, received a call from the initial match. Mr. Jiao's first reaction was to agree. In order to prepare for the next high-resolution test and physical examination, Mr. Jiao adjusted his work and rest, ate lightly, and strengthened exercise, and finally successfully passed the test and physical examination.
Talking about the original intention of donating hematopoietic stem cells, Mr. Jiao said, "Saving people is a beautiful thing. My family has also received help from many people, hoping to pass on love and make the world full of love. ”

During the donation process, Mr. Jiao's wife has always been by his side, giving him support and encouragement. Knowing that Mr. Jiao had taken leave to save people, the unit approved the leave and greatly praised his behavior.
