In memory, Yang Liuqing is one of the most convenient "suburban counties" away from the city, because from the West Railway Station along the Xiqing Road, all the way to the west can be reached.
When I was a child, I was greedy, and I always confused this place with Yang Village, which was dried with cakes, and thought that the stone gate kaner vegetarian bag came from the Shi family compound, which was simply confused.
In fact, in addition to the New Year paintings, Yang Liuqing also has crisp candy, pastries, kites, gourds and other good things.
However, if we revisit what Yang Liuqing looked like in the 1980s, we will find that this thousand-year-old town is now becoming more and more verdant.

Yangliuqing Town was formed earlier, according to the documents that can be found, it can be traced back to the second year of Jin Zhenyou (Liukou Town), which is one of the thirty-eight organized towns on Hebei East Road in the Jin Dynasty, and has a considerable scale. Compared with the "Jinmen Baojia Map" in the light years of the Qing Dynasty, the pattern of Yangliuqing Town did not change much until the 20th century. At the end of the 1990s, the appearance of the town has changed greatly, but the western part of the town still retains the streets and alleys such as the Gongshi Street formed since the Jin Dynasty, which roughly retains the pattern in the Qing Dynasty's "Jinmen Baojia Map".
In 1971, the western suburban (changed to Xiqing District in 1992) office was moved from Liqizhuang to Yangliuqing, and in 1972 it was built in the former Yangliuqing Town Square. It is the office of the western suburban organs (district party committee, district people's congress, district government, district CPPCC). In 2000, it was demolished and Yangliuqing Square was rebuilt.
Monument to the Outer Ring Road section of Xiqing District In 1986, the Tianjin Outer Ring Road was established when it was completed. It is located at the intersection of the Outer Ring Road and Xiqing Road. For many years, it has been a symbol of the boundaries of Xiqing District. It no longer exists.
Xiqing District Gymnasium Before liberation, there was no special sports venue in Xiqing District. In 1976, a large stadium was built on the north side of the middle section of Yangliuqing Xinhua Road. In 1987, a large stadium was built in the stadium and completed in May 1991. The gymnasium was designed by tianjin architectural design institute according to the handball hall, with an investment of 3.67 million yuan, a construction area of 3246 square meters, and has hosted many events. In 2014, it was demolished due to the renovation of the stadium.
The former site of the District Construction Committee is located at No. 24, Nanyuan Yingjian Road, Yangliuqing Town, and a three-story brick-concrete office building was built in 1980, and later an office building was successively built in the courtyard. Relocation in the early 20th century.
The West River Gate is located in the north of Yangliuqing Town, on the Ziya River. The West River Temperance Gate was built in 1958 as a large first-class sluice gate. The West River Locks are non-flood discharge buildings located to the right of the West River Temperance Locks. The upper reaches of the locks are connected to the Ziya River, and the lower reaches of the River are connected to the West River. On the west side of the West River Gate, there is a forest, commonly known as "small forest", which is a scene of Yang Liuqing.
Yangliuqing Railway Station The old railway station is located on the west side of the waiting room of the current Yangliuqing Railway Station and on the north side of Qingsha Road, built in the second year of the Qing Dynasty (1910), and opened to traffic on November 20, 2010. The old station building is a brick-concrete two-storey German-style building, which was listed as one of the top ten immovable cultural relics in Tianjin in 2007. The old station house was in use until the early 1980s. In 1980, Yangliuqing Railway Station built a new waiting room and service facilities, that is, the Yangliuqing Railway Station, which is now in use.
Xiqing District Cultural Center (Yangliuqing Garden) In the old days, Yangliuqing had many pits and ponds, and was known as "Little Jiangnan". There is a land in the north of the town, surrounded by lotus ponds, a circular garden in the middle, and a 3-meter-wide yongdao road leading to the garden in the south. After liberation, it was once named "People's Park", which is a good place for people to relax and entertain. In 1957, when he was young, Tian Lianyuan (a famous storyteller and performance artist) was teaching martial arts at The Old Man Of the Wind and Clouds, yue Jialin, a teacher, and practiced here every morning. In 1956, the Working People's Club was established here, and a 200-square-meter auditorium was built in the courtyard, which contained books, borrowing, dance halls and other facilities, and a lighted stadium was built in the park. It is open 6 days a week and often hosts dance parties and competitions in the evenings. Until the end of the 1970s, the area remained surrounded by water.
In 1949, Yangliuqing Town began to build a people's education hall in the courtyard of the An Clan Ancestral Hall in hutongkou of the Shi Medical Bureau. In 1951, it was renamed the Cultural Center. Subsequently, it changed its name several times with the change of zoning affiliation. In 1971, the government offices in the western suburbs moved into Yangliuqing Town, and Yangliuqingguan was merged into the District Cultural Center, and the office was located at the former site of Yangliuqingguan. In 1975, the Western Suburbs Cultural Center built a new site in Yangliuqing Garden (Town Workers' Club), covering an area of 5,000 square meters. There are exhibition halls, art halls, amusement halls, small theaters, roller skating rinks, video halls, etc. In the 1980s, chrysanthemum exhibitions and dance parties were often held. Billiards and other items were added.
Xinhua Bookstore Yangliuqing Gate Department opened in 1949, with Yang Liuqing's administrative affiliation changes its name several times. The location is at No. 18, Jiayi Street, Yangliuqing Town, at the intersection of Yiyi Street and Jin Jia Dachang (northeast of Shijia Compound). In 1976, it was relocated to a new business location at No. 10 Heping Road (the former southwest corner of Yangliuqing Square). The construction of the new site of the bookstore predates the old western suburban committee compound. The new site has a construction area of 1168 square meters, with a business department, a textbook supply department, a wholesale department and a service department of government units. The south side is the business hall, and the north side yard is used for offices and warehouses. The bookstore mainly sells books, stationery, stationery, and new year paintings during the Spring Festival. In the 1980s, he began to work on audiovisual productions concurrently. The store has made contributions to the important spiritual life of the people in Yangliuqing and Xiqing Districts.
Yangliuqing Park is located in the middle of Yangliuqing, on the Old Road of the South Canal. From Yijing Road (now Liuyun Road) in the east to Jianshe Road (present-day Qingzhi Road) in the west. It covers an area of 30068.17 square meters, with a construction area of 2469 square meters. It was built in 1984 and completed in 1987. The total length is 835.3 meters, the width is 36 meters, and it is strip-like, so it is also called "strip park". The park consists of a children's garden, a summer garden and a youth garden in the east, middle and west. The park's octagonal pavilion, fountain, Han white jade five sons to win the lotus, the old birthday star, a pair of stone lions in front of the Summer Palace and other unique crafts, add color to the park. For a long time, Yangliuqing Park was the only large-scale park in the local area, providing a good place for Yangliuqing people to exercise early and entertain in the evening. In 2002, Xiqing District launched the "Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal Environmental Greening Project" to re-excavate the old road of the Grand Canal, and the park was demolished.

Strip park stone stele
There is a monument to the construction of a garden at the east frontage of the Summer Palace, the stele is the five characters of "Yangliuqing Park" written by the famous calligrapher Wang Songyuti, the stele is written by Xie Yuming, a cadre of the district CPPCC, and the inscription written by Guo Picheng, a peasant calligrapher of Yang Liuqing.
Yang Liuqing "Top 100" was built in 1950 on the north side of Jiayi Street in Yangliuqing Town, near the south entrance of Caojia Hutong. We operate daily necessities. It was once an important daily necessities store for Yang Liuqing. The official name is "Yangliuqing Second Department Store". Because Yang Liuqing people are front of the south and the north is the back, compared to the department store (non-staple food mall, commonly known as "back hundred"), which is changed from the flower gauze company to the department store (non-staple food mall, commonly known as "back hundred") in 1956, it is called "front hundred". In 2010, it was demolished during the renovation of yangliuqing compound.
Yangliuqing Photo Studio was originally located at No. 41 Hou Avenue, Yangliuqing Town, on the north side of the "Three Disregards" area. In 1956, several photo studios in the town were established on the road of public-private partnership. The Bohai Photo Studio, which was originally located at No. 21 Dasi Hutong, was changed to one Yang Liuqing Photo Studio, and another two were set up in Jiayi Street. The latter two departments were merged into the store department at No. 41 Avenue. The photo studio was the only photo studio in Yangliuqing Town for a long time, and Yangliuqing people have a deep affection for it. In 2004, the site was demolished during the renovation of Yangliuqing Old Town.
The Mass Movie Theater is located at No. 4, yuanjian road (now Qingzhi Road) in Yangliuqing Town, and the location of the mass park on the west side of the north section of Qingzhi Road. It is close to Yangliuqing Railway Station in the north and the former Yangliuqing No. 3 Middle School in the south. Built in 1957, the auditorium is divided into two floors. Originally built without a stage, a small stage was added in 1982 with no backstage. For a long time, the theater was an important place of spiritual and cultural life for the people of Yangliuqing Town and even Xiqing.
On the north side of the theater is the Xiqing District Film Screening Company, which was built in 1976 and used to operate a video hall in the 1990s.
Yangliuqing Shopping Mall is located in the center of Yangliuqing, north of Xinhua Road and south of Hou Avenue. It covers an area of 7000 square meters. The address was originally the Yangliu Qingying Theater, the Grocery Store, the Seven Sisters Store, and the Workers' and Peasants' Canteen. Construction began in October 1993 and was completed and opened in December of the following year. For a long time, it was the main shopping place for Yangliu Qingren.
Located at No. 46, Guangming Road (now Liukou Road), Yangliuqing Department Store was built in 1974 and completed in 1975. The main body is a three-story building called a department store. For a long time, yang Liuqing chose the main place to buy daily necessities. In March 1989, a new department store was built on Guangming Road, opposite the original department store building, and was completed and opened in November of that year. In 2000, Guangming Road was widened and renovated, and the new and old department store buildings were demolished.
The first kindergarten in Xiqing District

Later, the "Tianjin County Civil Fifth Girls' Primary School" was established in the north of the temple. In 1920, both schools were taken over by Tianjin County, and the "Thirteenth School of Civil Construction" was renamed "Tianjin County Public Eighth Primary School", and "Tianjin County Minli Fifth Girls' Primary School" was renamed "Tianjin County Public Fifty Girls' Primary School". In 1940, the two schools were merged and changed to "Yangliuqing Town Primary School". After the victory of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression in 1945, it was renamed "Tianjin County Experimental Primary School". In 1949, it was renamed "Yang Liuqing First Primary School". In 1976, some of the bungalows in the main campus were converted into teaching buildings, with three floors in the north and two floors in the east. In 1992, the teaching building was expanded. The old site building of the school was demolished in the renovation of the old town in the early 21st century and relocated to the current site of Qingzhi Road.
Former site of Yang Liuqing No.3 Primary School
It is located at No. 2 Tianqi Temple Street, Yangliuqing Town (now Century Xinyuan Community). In the first year of the Qing Dynasty (1909), it was built in the Tianqi Temple. Formerly known as "Tianjin County Public First and Second Class Primary School". In 1928, it was renamed as "Tianjin County Public No. 60 Primary School". In August 1942, it became a branch of "Yangliuqing Town Primary School". In 1945, it was renamed as "Tianjin County Yangliuqing Town Center National Primary School". In February 1949, it was renamed "East Street Elementary School". In April, it was renamed as "Yangliuqing Town No. 3 Complete Primary School". In 1974, the old school building in the north of the campus was demolished and a two-story simple teaching building was built. In 1985, a two-storey teaching building was built in the south of the campus, forming a campus pattern with simple teaching buildings at the north and south ends and old-style bungalows on the east and west sides. The campus preserves the ancient locust of the Ming Dynasty of the Tianqi Temple. In 2000, the school merged with Xiqing Experimental Primary School and the school building was demolished.

In 1950, "Heping Street Elementary School" and "Jianshe Street Elementary School" were merged to be called "Yangliuqing Fifth Primary School", and the main school was located in Zizhu'an, and there was a branch school of the 16th Street East Office. In 1958, the backyard of the 16th Street Brigade Headquarters was assigned to the Fifth Elementary School Branch, called "Zhangjia Xiaohutong Branch". In 1962, Yang Liuqing No. 5 Primary School was moved to Zhangjia Xiaohutong, with Jianshe Street (Zizhu'an) as the first branch, Heping Street (Wenchang Pavilion) as the second branch, and Donggong as the third branch. In 1964, the main school of YangLiuqing No. 5 Primary School was moved to Wenchang Pavilion, and in 1965, the East Office and Zhangjia Xiaohutong Branch Were abolished. In order to protect and restore the wenchangge heritage, the fifth primary school was moved out in 2001, and the school building on the old site of the school was demolished in 2007 during the renovation of the old town.

Yangliuqing Market is located on the east side of Guangming Road
Guangming Road is located in the middle of Yangliuqing Town, from Xiqing Road in the north, to The Guangming Bridge and Yingjian Road in the south, to Xinhua Road, Heyan Avenue and Canal Road in the middle, and to communicate with Hou Avenue and Land Ancestral East Avenue on the east and west sides. It is 1592 meters long and 20 meters wide, and is the main road between the north and south of Yangliuqing Town District. It was originally a dirt road and a narrow alley. In 1958, in order to connect the West Green Road and The Construction Road, the asphalt pavement was widened and built. In 1989, the southern section was widened again, demolishing the old buildings on the east side and creating new two- to three-story commercial facades of brick-concrete structures of various styles. At the end of the 20th century, the southern section of the road was widened and rebuilt again, and it was jointly called Liukou Road with the original Yingjian Road.

Xidukou is located in the middle of Yangliuqing, from the South Canal Old Road in the south, to the Street of Baoshi, and intersects with Heyan Avenue in the middle. It is 67 meters long, 3.8 meters wide and 2.6 meters at its narrowest point. Formed during the Qianlong period, it was named because it was directly opposite the west ferry port of Yangliuqing Town. There are monuments such as the Stone Stables in the hutong. Guan Ganzhen, the governor of the Canal in the Qing Dynasty, left poems here and twice reported yang liuqing rain to the Qianlong Emperor, and Qianlong wrote poems for this purpose twice.
String heart Tangzi Hutong
Tangzi Hutong is located in the middle of Yangliuqing, from Heyan Street in the south to Yiyi Street in the north. Formed during the Daoguang years. In the northern part of the alley, there was originally a bathhouse opened by yan surname, and when the hutong road, the hutong passed around the bathhouse, hence the name. In the early 1980s, the remains of the bathhouse were still there, but they were completely demolished and the hutong was straightened. The east side of the hutong is the western wall of the Shijia compound, and the west side of the hutong is a private residence. The houses on the west side of the hutong have been demolished in the transformation of the old town at the end of the 20th century, and the name of the hutong has not been retained.

The hutong was formed during the Kangxi Dynasty of the Qing Dynasty, and was named after the semicolon "Beautiful" where dai residents opened a "Dai Lianzeng" painting shop. The alley was demolished in the early 2000s during the transformation of the old town.

Dongjiangdian Hutong is located in the middle of Yangliuqing, from Pigshi Street in the south to the southern section of Yaojiadian Hutong in the north. Legend has it that it was formed during the Yongzheng period. Residents surnamed Du in the lane opened a ginger shop, so it was called Jiangdian Hutong. Later, it was distinguished from Jiangdian Hutong in the west of the town, so it was changed to East Jiangdian Hutong. Yaojiadian Hutong, which borders Dongjiangdian Hutong, is also known as Zhonggongshou Hutong because of the Limen Office. Legend has it that the drama queen Bai Yushuang once lived in seclusion in this Yaojiadian Hutong.
Caojia Hutong is located in the middle of Yangliuqing, from Yiyi Street in the south to Pig Market Street, with a length of 120 meters. It was formed during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty. The cao surnamed households in the hutong first lived here, hence the name. In the hutong, there is the Yangliuqing Town People's Bank Business Office, the Town People's Court, and the former site of the Eighth Street Sewing Factory. Among them, the former site of the People's Bank of China Business Office, Caojia Hutong No. 5 Courtyard building is particularly exquisite, its gate is imitation of the Shikumen style, the northern region is extremely rare. In 2010, after the transformation of the compound, the appearance of the hutong has been greatly changed.

Swastika Hutong is located in the middle of Yangliuqing, from Pig Market Street in the south to Hou Avenue in the north. Legend has it that it was formed during the reign of Qing Shunzhi. On the west side, there was once a Guandi Temple (that is, the Shanxi Guild Hall, also known as the West Laoye Temple). Later, a primary school was established on the site of the Guandi Temple, which was later Yang Liuqing First Primary School. In 1928, the Xinjiang Merchant Gang of the town built the Red Swastika Society on the east side of the hutong, hence the name. The Red Swastika Society, also known as the Taoist Temple, is a charitable organization of xiong Xiling, the former president of the Republic of China, and has branches throughout the country. The alley was demolished in the early 2000s during the transformation of the old town.
Middle of the back street, from west to east
HouDajie is located in the middle of Yangliuqing, from Dasi Hutong in the west, to Pigshi Street in the west, to Guangming Road in the east, and to the Land Ancestral Street. Legend has it that it was built in the early years of Qing Yongzheng and was the main street at that time. Because it is located in the north of the front street, and yang liuqing people call the south front and the north the back, it is called the back street. The street is full of exquisite buildings built during the Ming and Qing dynasties. The street was demolished in the early 2000s during the renovation of the old town.
Zhao Jiashi Hutong
Pei Yuantang Hutong is located in the middle of Yangliuqing, on the north side of Qiandajie, from Qiandajie in the south to Houdajie in the north. During the Xianfeng period of the Qing Dynasty, the Yangliu Qingshi clan's Nagato Fushan Hall was divided, and two houses were built here to give the seven sons Shi Yuandu, pei yuantang, so the hutong got this name. The alley was demolished in the transformation of the old town at the end of the 20th century.
Qianda Street is located in the middle of Yangliuqing, from Dasi Hutong in the west, connected to Yiyi Street, east to Guangming Road, and connected to Tiantai Street. Yang Liuqing people call the south front and the north the back, hence the name. Legend has it that the street was formed during the Kangxi Dynasty of the Qing Dynasty, and the hutongs were full of ancient buildings. During the light years of the Qing Dynasty, the Shi clan spent more than 50,000 silver at the east entrance of Qianda Avenue to build the Shi Clan Ancestral Hall covering an area of more than 500 square meters, and asked the famous calligrapher Wang Dai of Shandong to write an inscription "Shi Clan Ancestral Hall" carved into a large plaque with gold characters and hung it on the gate of the ancestral hall. The ancestral hall is extremely beautifully built. In the 26th year of the Republic of China (1937), Shi Wenguang of the Shi Clan Tianxi Hall demolished and sold the ancestral hall. The alley was demolished in the transformation of the old town at the end of the 20th century.

After 1978, the residents of the town built houses on both sides, forming a relatively wide street. In the 1983 census of geographical names, it took the meaning of Guangyao Zhonghua and fixed the name. The road was demolished in the early 2000s during the renovation of the old town.
Renpingshi Hutong is located in the middle of Yangliuqing, from the south of Yiyi Street, and the northern end of the hutong is not passable. Legend has it that it was formed during the Qianlong period. The name of the hutong means that everyone is safe. The alley was demolished in the early 2000s during the transformation of the old town.
Wenhua Road is located in the middle of Yangliuqing. From Heping Road (now Qingyuan Road) in the east to Jianshe Road in the west. To its north is the Yangliuqing Garden, later the Working People's Club. In 1982, the office building of the cultural system was built on its north side, which was then a dirt road, so named because it was located in front of the cultural center. Asphalt pavement was laid in 1983. The south of the road is the courtyard wall of Yangliuqing Transportation Yard, the east entrance is oblique to the front street of the special office, and the west entrance is oblique to Yangliuqing Third Middle School.
In 1987, the Yangliuqing Town Government set up a place-name monument, and a total of four pieces were set up in the east, west, south, north and south of the town. This is the main monument originally located at the mouth of the East Highway in Yangliuqing Town. The stele is 3.6 meters high, the Sumire seat is 90 centimeters high, and the lions and flowers are carved on it; the stele is 2 meters high, 90 centimeters wide and 50 centimeters thick; the top of the monument adopts the traditional ethnic style. The three large red characters of the stele "Yang Liuqing" were written by Mr. Liu Ziyun, a famous calligrapher who came out of Yang Liuqing, who had written the Qianlong Imperial Pen for Beihai Park; the stele was written by Guo Picheng, a peasant calligrapher in Yangliuqing Town. The other three stone stele are all 2 meters high, ordinary stele, no roof. In 2011, due to construction, it is now included in the warehouse of the District City Appearance Committee.

Wenchang Pavilion is located in the southeast of Yangliuqing Old Town, with a height of 20 meters, it is a hexagonal three-story brick and wood pavilion, dedicated to Confucius, Wenchang Emperor and Kuixing. In the old days, it was called "Chongge Rain", which was one of the Ten Scenic Spots of Yang Liuqing. The pavilion was built in the fourth year of the Wanli Calendar of the Ming Dynasty (1576) and was rebuilt in the seventh year of Ming Chongzhen (1634) and the third year of Qing Xianfeng (1853). In the fourth year of Guangxu (1878), the Chongwen Academy was built in the Wenchang Pavilion, which created a large number of talents, including Liu Xueqian and Du Tong. In the thirty-first year of Guangxu (1905), the Chongwen Academy was discontinued and the Second Middle School of Tianjin County was opened, which was also closed soon after. In 1938, Tianjin County No. 61 Primary School was built in Wenchang Pavilion. In 1947, it was renamed Wenchangge Primary School. In 1949, it was renamed Heping Street Primary School, and in 1950, it was merged with Jianshe Street Primary School to be called Yang Liuqing Fifth Primary School. In 1987, Wenchang Pavilion was listed as a key cultural relics protection unit in the western suburbs. In 1992, it was announced by the Tianjin Municipal People's Government as a key cultural relics protection unit. After the founding of New China, it was repaired in 1965 and 1984. In 2001, Yang Liuqing No. 5 Primary School was moved out, and The Xiqing District carried out a large-scale renovation of Wenchang Pavilion.
This is a very distinctive door, its steps do not occupy the area of the hutong, and the door is open. This kind of door can be seen in the Jiangsu and Zhejiang regions, but it is extremely rare in the northern region, and Yang Liuqing has more doors in this form.
