On December 27th, the launching ceremony of the cross-strait standard cursive exchange activity of the Confucius Academy was held in Guiyang Confucius School. Guiyang Confucius Academy is a "cross-strait exchange base" awarded by the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council, shouldering the important mission of inheriting and promoting the excellent traditional Chinese culture and promoting cross-strait cultural exchanges. This time, the Guiyang Confucius School Cultural Communication Center, together with the Provincial Calligraphers Association and the Municipal Taiwan Affairs Office, jointly organized the "Ink and Ink Romance and Heart-Warming Appointment" Confucius School Cross-Strait Standard Cursive Exchange Activity, aiming to promote the continuous upward development of cultural exchanges between Guizhou and Taiwan, and promote the creative transformation and innovative development of China's excellent traditional culture.
Liu Rui said in his speech that over the years, Chinese culture has been deeply rooted and developed on both sides of the strait, and compatriots on both sides of the strait have always maintained non-stop cultural exchanges and cultural exchanges. The launch of this event will provide a platform for calligraphers on both sides of the strait, especially Taiwan compatriots, to better understand the long and rich history of Guizhou, experience the colorful multicultural charm of Guizhou, and truly feel the fruitful achievements and great achievements made by Guizhou in the development of the new era. It is hoped that through activities such as mutual exhibitions of calligraphy works on both sides of the strait, mutual visits by calligraphers, seminars on calligraphy art, and calligraphy education exchanges, the feelings and cultural identity of compatriots on both sides of the strait will be further enhanced, and the inheritance and development of Chinese culture will be jointly promoted. Shi Banglin introduced that calligraphy is a treasure of Chinese culture, a symbol of the national spirit, and the cornerstone of Chinese cultural self-confidence, carrying the history of Chinese civilization for more than 5,000 years, and containing rich philosophical thoughts, humanistic spirit and aesthetic pursuit. Calligraphers on both sides of the Taiwan Strait, as the inheritors of this legacy, share the important responsibility of promoting the art of calligraphy. On the same day, the Chinese Confucius Institute Federation in Taiwan signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Confucius Institute Cultural Communication Center in Guiyang, and the Chinese Calligraphy Society, Jiangsu Standard Cursive Research Institute, Guizhou Calligraphers Association and Guiyang Confucius Institute Cultural Communication Center signed a strategic cooperation agreement.
