On December 27, the Yuliangxi Bridge on Pengyou Road of Yuxiang Double-track Expressway, which was constructed by China Railway 25th Bureau, realized the closure of the whole bridge. This marks the full completion of the Pengyou Road 4 bid project, laying a solid foundation for the opening of the whole line.
Located in Gongtan Town, Youyang County, Chongqing City, Yuliangxi Bridge spans the tributaries of the Wujiang River, with a total length of 1,758 meters and a maximum pier height of 72.3 meters.
The total mileage of the Chongqing-Hunan double-track expressway is 280 kilometers, and the average bridge-tunnel ratio is 80%. After it is completed and opened to traffic, it is of great significance to further develop tourism resources along the route, promote the integration of traffic and tourism, and promote economic and social development along the route.
