On December 26, the Red Star News reporter learned from the fifth detachment of the Sichuan Expressway Traffic Police that due to the expansion of the Chengnan section of the G42 Shanghai-Rong Expressway (also known as the "Chengnan Expressway"), the overpass in the section from the osmanthus hub to the Guangxing hub needs to be dismantled. According to the relevant laws and regulations, it was decided to carry out temporary traffic control on the section from Guihua Hub to Guangxing Hub (1846Km+000m-1913Km+600m) in the Chengnan section of the G42 Hurong Expressway. Traffic control will be from 00:00 to 24:00 on January 3, 2024.
During the traffic control period, the main line from Guihua Hub to Guangxing Hub in the southern section of the G42 Hurong Expressway will be closed, and the Longsheng Toll Station, Daying Toll Station, Cangshan Toll Station and Fengdian Toll Station will be closed.
Diversion bypass routes
(1) Chengdu to Nanchong direction: Chengdu →G42 Hurong Expressway→ Guangxing Hub→ SA3 Chengdu Metropolitan Ring Expressway→ S28 Suide Expressway→ S53 Maosui Expressway Suihui Section→ Guihua Hub → Nanchong direction.
(2) Nanchong to Chengdu direction: Nanchong → Osmanthus Hub → S53 Maosui Expressway Suihui Section→ S28 Suide Expressway → SA3 Chengdu Metropolitan Ring Expressway → Chengdu direction.
