From the Jianghan Road subway station, there are 4 exits leading directly to the "Hankou STAY" on the top cover. In the warm winter sun, this walled building does not look dazzling, and few people know that in the past few months, it has quietly undergone "earth-shaking" changes.
At present, the construction of "Hankou STAY" has come to an end, standing on the 5th floor and looking down at the large ceiling courtyard, you can see the flying ladder on the second floor at a glance. After the opening, the first floor will create an indoor pedestrian street parallel to the Jianghan Road Pedestrian Street, integrating the current quality traffic brands, the second and third floors will be used as interactive experience spaces for retail, culture and curation, and the Youth Wharf in the atrium on the fourth and fifth floors will organically connect the two catering floors and the outdoor terrace with large walking steps, so that the switching of the catering floors and waiting for a seat during dining will no longer be boring and more interesting.
"Soon, there will be a lot of greenery and beauty in the place, and you won't be able to see what it looked like at all. Zhang Fengbin, engineering director of the "Hankou STAY" project, said that the "original" only needs to be traced back to half a year.
After getting the construction drawings, Zhang Fengbin realized, "This is the most difficult one of the many commercial projects I have taken over in my 15 years of experience." The renovation of the project faced the common defects of old properties, such as low floor height, unsmooth circulation lines, irregular structure, backward facilities and equipment, and at the same time, because it is adjacent to Jianghan Road in the east and connected to the subway line, the average daily passenger flow in the surrounding area exceeds 200,000 people, and the construction organization and safety control are facing great challenges."
The project can only organize the entry of materials and garbage transfer on a daily basis, and from 11 o'clock every night to 6 o'clock the next morning, eight enclosed trucks will be hauled on a continuous axle, and the project will be cleared and closed on a daily basis.
During the preparation period of the project, various departments in Jianghan District took the lead in holding expert demonstration meetings to provide guidance on policies and regulations for enterprises, and provided quality assurance and safety control suggestions during construction. For example, the review of drawings, the issuance of construction permits and many other procedures have been completed at a high speed due to the full guidance and demonstration in the early stage.

There are not only fashion brands such as Wenmo Women's Wear and "WOW COLOUR" Wuhan flagship store, but also a number of time-honored brands such as Lean Glasses, Xinhua Bookstore, and Four Seasons Beauty will be upgraded and returned.
In 2009, Wuhan Metro Line 2 broke ground, and time-honored brands such as Lean Glasses, Shunxiangju and Sijimei moved out due to construction and waited for "return". However, the newly built building, due to property and structural defects, is limited in operation, even if it is close to the Jianghan Road subway station, at the intersection of Line 2 and Line 6, the average daily tourist attraction in the area exceeds 200,000, it is difficult to stay.

After the opening, Wuhan Lean Glasses General Store returned to Jianghan Road and won a total of 1,100 square meters of business space on the first and second floors. The new store will be based on mahogany color, which is classic and calm, and has the charm of a museum. Zhao Liang introduced that the store is positioned as the city's flagship exhibition hall, and the store will also be decorated with trendy elements such as lean image IP dolls, and decorated with dynamic lines in the sports glasses area, which has a sense of fashion and technology.

At the renovation site, a spiral staircase, a tunnel-like book gallery and a children's area have begun to take shape.
Jin Jian, the person in charge of the operation of the "Hankou STAY" project and the chairman of Sanwai Commerce, told reporters that the "Hankou STAY" has upgraded the quality of the traditional leisure and sports business formats on Jianghan Road, with the first store, concept store, and high-standard store as the main form, focusing on the trend, entertainment, food, science and technology, culture, and art, to create a forest vitality field, and change the flow of Jianghan Road Pedestrian Street to "retention".

"Hankou STAY" has given a new look to the "face", and it has also made a fuss in the "Lizi": actively responding to the government's concept of energy conservation and emission reduction, green and low-carbon, and building a green energy-saving and carbon-reduction demonstration project for the on-site resource reuse of kitchen waste in Wuhan, which is the first kitchen and domestic waste resource treatment garbage room in Wuhan.
The garbage room covers an area of about 150 square meters, and the interior is mainly composed of a kitchen waste sorting workshop, a renewable disposal equipment room, and a refrigerated storage room.
In the future, the domestic garbage and food waste generated by "Hankou STAY" will be poured onto the conveyor belt, and the "hard objects" mixed in the food waste will be picked out by the garbage sorting equipment and machine, and then the food waste will be "fed" into a device called a separator.
After more than 10 minutes of high-speed operation, the separator will automatically decompose the food waste. The waste waiting to decompose is stored in a sub-zero temperature storage room to avoid the odor of food waste.
The garbage disposal room will turn food waste into a green resource.
In the renewable disposal plant, the machinery and equipment will efficiently decompose the organic waste, partially separate it into oil, which will be recycled by a qualified enterprise, the water will evaporate naturally, the wastewater will be discharged into the sedimentation tank for treatment, and the remaining solids will be made into organic fertilizer.
Jin Jian introduced that after it is put into use, the garbage room will have the ability to process 30 tons of kitchen waste per day, and after full operation, it can recycle about 3 tons of biomass per day and reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 0.5 tons.
The person in charge of the relevant department of Jianghan District said that the era of urban renewal of large-scale demolition and construction has long come to an end, and the development model in the field of urban renewal will be completely reconstructed, and the quality improvement and transformation will be irreversible.
Urban renewal commercial projects are not only specific commercial projects, but also shoulder multiple missions while considering economic benefits: reshaping regional urban functions, optimizing urban spatial structure, urban industrial upgrading, etc., and ultimately providing different types of solutions for urban renewal and improving the functions of the entire region.
