Today (May 1), the main bridge of Fuxing Avenue across the Jianghan Canal Bridge was officially completed and opened to traffic.
Fuxing Avenue cross-Jianghan Canal Bridge is an important passage connecting Jingzhou High-tech Zone to the central urban area, in an east-west direction, connecting Fuxing Avenue in the east and Fuxing Avenue in the west, with a design speed of 80 kilometers per hour, a total length of about 700 meters, and a standard road width of 70 meters, which is a two-way six-lane + non-motorized lane + non-common board.
The project is mainly composed of steel bridge deck, steel tower, cable-stayed cable, ladder bridge and concrete ramp bridge.
The project started in April 2022, and the main bridge deck was widened from 19 meters to 70 meters, changing from 2 lanes in both directions to 6 lanes in both directions, greatly improving the road carrying capacity of Jingzhou High-tech Zone.
The main bridge of Fuxing Avenue across the Jianghan Canal Bridge has been completed and opened to traffic, opening up the east-west "artery" of the main urban area of Jingzhou, attracting more development elements to gather in Jingzhou High-tech Zone, and providing solid transportation support for high-quality economic development.
