As the car company with the most outstanding sales performance this year, Li Auto can be said to amaze everyone in 2023. Although Ideal currently has only three models on sale, its market performance is better than that of most car companies. Considering the average price of a single car of more than 300,000 yuan, it is definitely the biggest surprise in the automotive industry this year that the ideal can hit the line in advance.

Part of the reason why Ideal has been able to achieve such excellent results is its accurate market positioning, which has a very accurate capture and understanding of audience positioning and appeals. Ideal has been focusing on "daddy cars" since the first product, Ideal ONE, and still grasps the family car in subsequent models. According to the data, from January to November this year, Geely Automobile Group sold a total of 1.536 million units, which is less than 120,000 units short of the target of 1.65 million units set at the beginning of the year.
It is understood that Geely Automobile's sales target this year is the same as last year, but this year's target achievement rate is significantly better than last year, and the main reason is that Geely has seized the rapid growth of the new energy market. In addition to Geely's own new energy brands, Geely Automobile currently owns many new energy brands, including Zeekr, Lynk & Co, Geely Galaxy, Geometry, Ruilan, etc., which also makes Geely's new energy models continue to increase the proportion of sales.

According to the data, Geely's sales of new energy vehicles in the first 11 months of this year were about 490,000 units, accounting for more than 3% of the group's total sales. But now it seems that the achievement of this goal is imminent. From January to November, BYD sold about 2.68 million vehicles, a figure that is only 320,000 units short of 3 million.

It is also a leading domestic car company, and Changan Automobile's target achievement rate is not as good as that of the above car companies. It is different from Geely's growth with new energy. Changan's performance in the field of new energy is not very good. It is understood that Changan's Deep Blue Automobile has set a sales target of 400,000 units in 2023, but only 121,000 units have been sold in the first 11 months. Another new energy brand, AVATAR, has set a sales target of 100,000 units in 2023, but only 22,000 units have been sold in the first 11 months. The actual performance of the two was far from the plan at the beginning of the year, which also made Chang'an fail to achieve the goal at the beginning of the year. However, fortunately, the newly launched Chang'an Qiyuan brand is currently performing quite well, and has achieved monthly sales of more than 10,000 through lower prices.

Chery's sales performance this year is actually quite good, with total sales in the first 11 months of this year coming to 1.665 million units, almost doubling compared with the same period last year, and monthly sales have been on the rise this year. However, the sales target of 2 million units set at the beginning of the year was too high, so it was not achieved.
Unlike other companies that rely on new energy to achieve sales growth, Chery has been able to achieve sales growth this year still by relying on fuel vehicles. Chery Group sold 212,000 units in November, setting a new record for monthly sales, with a total of eight models sold more than 10,000 units per month. In addition, the overseas market is another key factor for Chery's sales growth this year. In the first nine months of this year, Chery sold 648,000 vehicles overseas, accounting for more than half of the group's total sales in the same period.

At present, the main sales models of Leapmotor are C11 and C01, and the price is mainly within 200,000 yuan. And next year, Leapmotor will also bring another popular model, C10, which may become a new growth point for Leapmotor next year.

From January to November, Nezha Automobile delivered 122,400 vehicles, a year-on-year decrease of 15.19%, becoming the only brand with declining sales among the leading new car-making forces, and the annual target achievement rate was only 48.9%, ranking at the bottom among the leading new car-making forces.

The growth rate of the A-class and A0-class electric vehicle market, which Nezha Automobile has relied on for a long time, has slowed down significantly, and it is also facing increasing competitive pressure. At the same time, the sales performance of the Nezha S and Nezha GT models, which intend to hit the higher-level market, are tepid.
Nezha's poor sales also made CEO Daniel Zhang anxious. Not long ago, Daniel Zhang asked netizens for help on Weibo, asking how to make the sales of Nezha GT reach the explosive level of more than 5,000 units per month.
