Following the previous report of the chip master by the Ministry of Commerce: After the implementation of export controls on some UAVs from September 1, on December 21, the website of the Ministry of Commerce announced: In accordance with the "Foreign Trade Law of the People's Republic of China" and the "Regulations of the People's Republic of China on the Administration of Technology Import and Export", the "Catalogue of Technologies Prohibited and Restricted by China for Export" is hereby announced, which will be implemented from the date of promulgation, and the Ministry of Commerce and the Ministry of Science and Technology Announcement No. 38 of 2020 ("Adjustment Content of the Catalogue of Technologies Prohibited and Restricted by China") will be repealed at the same time. If it is dual-use technology, it shall be included in export control management.

According to the Catalogue, the technologies included in the scope of export control this time are divided into two parts: "prohibited export" and "restricted export". Among them, a number of semiconductor-related crystal materials, design, and manufacturing technologies are listed. In addition, a number of advanced technologies, including rare earths, aerospace, robotics and so on, are also regulated.

The chip master has made a careful identification, specifically, those that are listed as "prohibited exports" and (suspected) are related to the integrated circuit industry chain are:

1. Anti-irradiation technology and process (generally used in aerospace devices)

2. Preparation technology of high-power and large-size neodymium glass for laser technology (semiconductor application is mainly lithography)

Those listed as "restricted exports" and (suspected) related to the integrated circuit industry chain are: (partial)

1. Chemical vapor deposition (CVD) preparation of silicon carbide (SiC) fiber technology (materials)

2. A variety of intraocular lens growth and processing technologies (materials)

3. Amorphous and microcrystalline metallurgical technology (materials)

4. Broadband miniaturized isolator manufacturing technology (device)

5. Design technology and manufacturing process (device) of wideband (2~8GHz) mounted ribbon line frequency divider

6. Piezoelectric gyroscope sensitive device manufacturing technology (sensor)

7. Design and manufacturing technology of SAW devices (SAW filters)

8. High-power light-controlled bidirectional thyristor (device) with central conical groove photosensitive gate
