The United States and South Korea are preparing to "fight a nuclear war", ostensibly guarding against North Korea, but I am afraid that they are coming at China

According to a report by "Reference News" on the 16th, the United States and South Korea have held the second meeting of the "Nuclear Consultative Group" in Washington and issued a "warning against North Korea". Kim Tae-hyo, the first director of the South Korean National Security Office, later disclosed that the United States and South Korea are ready to work hard to complete the "nuclear strategic guidelines" next year, and it is expected that an "extended deterrence system" will be established in June, and that the United States and South Korea military exercises will also begin preparations for "fighting a nuclear war."

(Kim Tae-hyung)

According to Kim Tae-hyo's announcement, the communiqué stressed that the United States would "overwhelmingly respond" to a nuclear strike by North Korea, which would mean "the end of the regime." The "guidelines" will explain how to respond to a "nuclear crisis" in a coordinated manner, as well as the sharing of nuclear weapons intelligence. Moreover, the United States will conduct "nuclear strategy" training for South Korea in order to improve South Korea's "nuclear IQ." In addition, the US nuclear war methods will be matched with the ROK's conventional war methods, and as a manifestation of "extended deterrence," the entry of the US nuclear weapons forces into the Korean Peninsula will more reflect the joint implementation of tasks, and the concept of "nuclear warfare" will be embodied in the course of military exercises.

It can be seen from the ROK's remarks that the United States is pulling in the ROK and preparing for a "nuclear war" on the peninsula. South Korea's emphasis on "extended deterrence" indicates that it is focused on how to defend against North Korea's nuclear strikes. North Korea has declared nuclear weapons and has built a series of missile vehicles that could be a lethal deterrent to South Korea. South Korea does not have nuclear weapons, so it can only rely on the United States' "extended deterrence" to scare North Korea with the help of American nuclear weapons.

If the United States really does not want South Korea to suffer a nuclear war crisis, it should not increase its military strength on the peninsula or even deploy its nuclear forces there. As a matter of fact, the situation on the Korean Peninsula will develop into what it is today precisely because of repeated provocations by the United States.

Therefore, what the United States really cares about is not South Korea's interests, but its own hegemonic intentions. If the United States woos South Korea to engage in "nuclear war training" or even tries to increase the deployment of nuclear weapons, it can only be said that it is ostensibly guarding against North Korea, and its real intention may be aimed at China.

This is because two facts are obvious: First, the Korean Peninsula is very close to China, and whether it is the US military's B-52H nuclear bombers, F-35s capable of carrying nuclear bombs, and land-based medium-range missiles, they will all directly threaten China's security; second, if a nuclear war crisis really breaks out on the Korean Peninsula, it will certainly affect neighboring countries, and China also needs to deal with the complicated situation under the nuclear crisis.

Therefore, the United States is hoping that there will be no chaos on the peninsula, and it is also trying to use extreme measures such as a nuclear crisis to provoke the regional situation, and in the final analysis, it still wants to target China. It's just that the consequence of the United States doing this is that South Korea will be pushed into the fire pit. Just imagine, if a nuclear war really breaks out in the peninsula region, is it possible for the ROK to retreat in its entirety? As a country in the southern part of the peninsula, the ROK will basically be completely cool in such a war environment.

(The consequences of a nuclear war are unimaginable)

Therefore, South Korea really should not bet on US nuclear weapons, let alone foolishly cooperate with the United States to push for the arrival of a "nuclear war crisis". As a neighboring country, China hopes for peace and stability on the peninsula, whether based on the concept of peace or on the basis of security needs. The ROK should also understand that only when the peninsula is peaceful and stable can it have room for survival and development.
