Yip Wan-nok, a 2020 Digital Media Art major, has been involved in the wall painting of Shaw House since 2021. Under the guidance of teacher Zhang Yuanzhi, she and her classmates chose flat style illustrations that are easy to create and have good display effects. They painted on the white walls on the fourth and fifth floors of Shaw Building, as well as wall paintings before they were repaired and renovated.
"We paint the walls with acrylic paint, which doesn't wash off when it gets on our clothes, and it's common for us to get paint on our clothes and shoes. Ye Wannuo said with a smile that the most impressive thing was that once, a classmate's little white shoes were "dyed" by paint, but the classmate was very calm, and picked up acrylic paint on the spot to change the color of the little white shoes, and then continued to paint the wall.
