On the evening of December 10, Li Auto held an online press conference for intelligent software. It is reported that in the past 14 months, Li Auto has experienced a total of 20 OTA upgrades. OTA 5.0 has been upgraded in the following areas.

In terms of intelligent driving, the two platforms of AD Max and AD Pro, based on the intelligent driving fleet owned by Li Auto, have carried out large-scale "training mileage" accumulation.

Based on this, the algorithm model was re-architected and upgraded from AD 2.0 to AD 3.0. It has been upgraded from a modular algorithm architecture based on multiple small models and artificial rules to an end-to-end algorithm architecture based on large models.

In terms of perception algorithms, AD Max 3.0 adopts the BEV large model and occupancy network in the visual field, the planning algorithm is gradually switched to the spatio-temporal joint planning algorithm, and the MPC model predictive control algorithm is also updated to achieve low delay and high accuracy in steering, acceleration and braking. AD Pro 3.0 will complete the switching of all the above algorithm architectures in the first half of next year.

In addition, OTA 5.0 brings a "valet parking" function, which can help users park their cars in designated parking spaces in underground parking lots.

It is revealed that in this OTA 5.0 upgrade, full-scene intelligent driving will cover all highways, all urban ring roads and urban roads in 110 cities across the country.

In OTA 5.0, the biggest change in the voice assistant "Ideal Classmate" is the introduction of the ability of Mind GPT. Mind GPT is a multi-modal cognitive model developed by Ideal Quan. (Mind GPT is currently in closed beta.) ）

It is reported that Mind GPT will customize more than 1,000 capabilities covering 111 fields based on the key scenarios of "ideal students".
