In order to thoroughly study and implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and do a good job in the appropriate technology promotion project of the Chongqing Municipal Health Commission, on November 2, the First Party Branch of Endodontics of the Affiliated Stomatological Hospital (School of Stomatology) of Chongqing Medical University (Model Party Branch of Chongqing Municipal Education Commission), Yang Deqin, Secretary of the Party Branch of the Double Leader Teacher, the Geriatric Stomatology Committee of Chongqing Stomatological Association, the Endodontics Committee of Chongqing Stomatological Association and the Chongqing Oral Medical Quality Control Center hosted The "Standardized Root Canal Treatment" undertaken by Chongqing Yunyang County Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine was successfully held in Yunyang, and more than 100 people attended the meeting. The meeting was presided over by Yu Ronghua, vice president of Chongqing Yunyang County Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Liu Yuan, director of Yunyang County Oral Quality and Control Center and director of the Department of Stomatology of Yunyang County Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Liu Biming, Secretary of the Party Committee and President of Chongqing Yunyang County Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, attended the meeting and delivered a welcome speech. Li Zhen, deputy county magistrate in charge of medical and health care in Yunyang County, and Yu Jun, director of the Yunyang County Health Commission, personally cared about it, and Zhou Yu, deputy director, Zeng Chuang, Zou Xia, and Liu Guanghua, vice presidents of Yunyang County Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, attended the meeting.
At the meeting, Professor Yang Deqin introduced the branch studio and the two special committees of geriatric stomatology and endodontics to promote the appropriate technology projects of the Health Commission at the grassroots level, and expressed deep respect and sincere thanks to the leaders at all levels of the Yunyang County Government, the Health Commission and the Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine for their great attention and strong support. With the theme of "Concepts and Norms of Modern Root Canal Treatment", the concepts and norms of modern root canal treatment, the application of oral microscope and rubber dams were explained in simple terms.
Associate Professor Chen Liang, Chairman of the Endodontics Committee, systematically taught the operation process and key of root canal treatment with the theme of "Operation Process and Key of Root Canal Treatment", focusing on the core steps of root canal irrigation and root canal filling, and shared rich clinical operation experience.
Lecturer Gao Jing, secretary of the Geriatric Dental Committee, systematically taught the composition of rubber dam isolation technology, the specific operation steps of the wing method and the rubber obstacle cloth priority method with the theme of "Clinical Practical Operation Skills of Rubber Dam Isolation Technology", and summarized a series of practical tips and shared with the students present in combination with clinical application.
In order to further strengthen the understanding and practice of modern root canal treatment technical specifications among primary medical workers, the expert group systematically taught the use of rubber dams and standardized microscopic root canal treatment in the form of on-site teaching and hand-in-hand teaching. Including: the application of dental microscope, the placement method of rubber dam, the preparation of mechanical nickel-titanium sponge, the vertical pressure filling steps and precautions of hot teether. Face-to-face interactive exchanges and serious answers to various difficult questions encountered in clinical practice have benefited the trainees a lot and achieved remarkable results, which has aroused strong repercussions and wide acclaim among local dental counterparts in Yunyang.
"Improving the use rate of rubber dam isolation in root canal treatment" has been identified by the National Health Commission as the improvement goal of quality control work in the dental profession, and has been issued in the "Notice of the Medical Administration of the National Health Commission on Printing and Distributing the Quality Control Improvement Targets in 2021", "Notice of the General Office of the National Health Commission on Printing and Distributing the National Medical Quality and Safety Improvement Targets in 2022", and "Notice of the General Office of the National Health Commission on Printing and Distributing the National Medical Quality and Safety Improvement Targets in 2023" for three consecutive years. The development of this appropriate technology project has played a positive and effective role in promoting the improvement of rubber dam application in the quality control work of oral medicine in Chongqing.
This activity gave full play to the role of the model party branch as a fighting fortress and the "head goose effect" of the branch secretary's double leader studio, worked hard and served the grassroots, and guided the grassroots medical workers to adhere to the original intention of doctors, firmly establish the concept of patient-centered, and effectively take "doing practical things for the masses" as the starting point and foothold of the high-quality development of specialty work, so as to realize the dual integration and promotion of party building and business.
