Audi's new generation A6 revealed! The domestic size is lengthened, and the split headlamp is replaced

A few days ago, Zhidian Travel obtained a set of Audi's new generation of A6 Avant model road test spy photos, the new car plans to stop selling the fuel version of the model, is expected to be renamed "A6 Avant e-tron", and simultaneously launched the A6 Sportback e-tron sedan version of the model, the fuel version of the product position will be taken over by the A7 model. It is reported that the new model is planned to be launched in 2025 and will go on sale in the first quarter of 2026. Production of the new model is expected to begin in the domestic market within the same year, with major competitors including the Mercedes-Benz EQE sedan, BMW i5 and NIO ET7.

As can be seen from the released road test spy photos, Audi's new generation A6 Avant model is equipped with a polygonal closed grille at the head, and split LED headlight clusters are provided on both sides, and its styling design is also highly similar to Audi's new generation Q5 model, which is also more recognizable than BMW 5 Series and other models. At the rear, it is expected that for the first time, a continuous LED taillight cluster will be available, and the same small spoiler as the petrol variant will be used.

In terms of power, Audi's new generation A6 Avant and A6 Sportback e-tron models will be launched simultaneously with single-motor and dual-motor versions for consumers to choose, with a maximum output of 560kW and a battery pack with a net power of more than 100kWh, with a maximum range of up to 700 km. At the same time, the locally-produced A6 pure electric model will also be built on the same platform as the SAIC Zhiji L7 model, and three models will be launched for consumers to choose from: Entry, Main I and Main II.
