1. Establishment time and leadership
According to the establishment of the Kokang County Brigade on July 30, 2015, and the county brigade mentioned by the county magistrate in an interview in 2021, the establishment of the Menggu County Brigade should be earlier than 2021 and later than 2015.
Regarding the main leadership of the Menggu County Brigade, referring to the Kokang County Brigade, the deputy secretary of the county party committee is the instructor and the deputy county magistrate is the captain, and the Menggu County Brigade should basically be like this. Among them, a deputy captain appeared in the press release of the 2022 annual work summary meeting held in Menggu County, and the original text was as follows: "Deputy Captain Li of the Menggu County Brigade read out the 2022 'advanced individual' commendation order".

2. Organizational structure
Menggu County has a county brigade, and each district has a district company, which is what we jokingly call the "district team". In fact, during the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, our army established local armed sub-county brigades, district squadrons and district squadrons, of which the district squadron was a company-level unit, which corresponded to the district company of the Kokang Allied Army, while the district squad during the Anti-Japanese War was a platoon-level unit, and the level and scale were all subordinate to the district company of the Kokang Allied Army.
Menggu County has jurisdiction over 6 districts, including Menggu District, Menghong District, Nanzhuang District, Mengbo District, Damengyi District, and Mengji District, and each district has a district company, that is, a total of 6 district companies. In addition, in addition to the district companies, there are militia units in the districts. Perhaps the district militia is closer to the concept of a "district squad".

Third, the combat effectiveness of the "district squad" is not bad
Among them, on December 1, 2021, the Menggu County Brigade and the Menggu District (note that this is the Menggu District in front of Menggu County) company, in cooperation with the 511 Brigade of the Kokang Alliance, blocked the 109th Battalion of the 99th Division of the Burmese Army in Celery Tang Village, Menggu District, forcing the Burmese Army to retreat. In this battle, there were no casualties among the "district squads".
