In addition, Morris was found to have visible blood stains on the sheets at the time of his arrest, a blood-stained wooden baseball bat, and investigators found several shoe prints, hair and other blood-stained items in his car. Morris, 60, was convicted of third-degree sexual assault in 1989. Police said investigators were still searching for Morris's motive for the killing. Morris is currently charged with first-degree murder. Court documents released on the 11th show that Zhao was tied up with a rope belt, sexually assaulted, and finally burned alive. Her identity was confirmed by fingerprint.

Qian Zhao, 33, has played poker since her 10s and is known as one of the best poker players in Los Angeles.
