Following the last 3rd Belt and Road Summit, the mainland once again held a large-scale international forum, which shows China's influence.
It is worth mentioning, however, that although Sino-US relations have shown a trend of improvement, the United States did not directly send a senior official at the level of defense minister to the United States this time, but only an official from the Ministry of National Defense.
As a result, the outside world cannot help but speculate that the US military still has a grudge against China and is not at ease about opening up exchanges with China.

Shoigu's move also fully demonstrated Russia's strong support for China to convene the Xiangshan Forum, and General Zhang Youxia warmly embraced him for such a sincere friend.
So why did Zhang Youxia come forward to host?
It turned out that General Zhang was the vice chairman of the Military Commission, and he was completely qualified to preside over the forum from the perspective of his rank, and more importantly, General Zhang had really been on the battlefield and had the right to speak on military exchanges.
This year, General Zhang is 73 years old, but he still seems to be in good spirits, and he speaks in an orderly manner.
The old general's demeanor has not diminished back then
It is worth mentioning that General Zhang Youxia is a general, and his father, General Zhang Zongxun, is also a general, and he is also the founding general, and has made outstanding contributions to the victory of the revolution.
The father and son are both generals, which can already be passed on as a good story, and General Zhang Youxia's actual combat ability is even more recognized by the military circles.
It was in 1979 when China and Vietnam fought a self-defense counterattack, and the 29-year-old Zhang Youxia was a company commander of the 118th Regiment of the 40th Division of the 14th Army and led the troops to the front line in Vietnam.
When the large army attacked a position of the enemy, due to the stubborn defense of the enemy, it has not made a breakthrough, and at the critical moment, Zhang Youxia stood up, and he told the regiment commander to apply to lead a battalion to go around behind the enemy and attack on both sides.
But the regiment commander had already seen the map, which showed that behind the enemy were primeval forests and there was no way out, Zhang Youxia still insisted on saying: "Where there are mountains, there are beams", this is what he had heard Marshal Liu Bocheng say to his father, and he also thought it was true.
In the end, the regiment commander agreed to Zhang Youxia's plan, and in this way, Zhang Youxia began to attack with a battalion of soldiers (the battalion had only 4 companies at that time), and finally successfully rushed behind the enemy with a company after many difficulties and dangers, and hit the opposite side by surprise, and the battle was also won.
Later, during the Battle of the Two Mountains, Zhang Youxia led the team to the battlefield to participate in the actual battle, and also established meritorious service, it can be said that General Zhang Youxia is a senior official of our army with rich combat experience who really came out of the battlefield.
When the veteran general Zhang Youxia made a public appearance at the Xiangshan Forum, the scene immediately burst into warm applause, and when the country was in need, he worked tirelessly and resolutely attended, once again sending out China's voice to the world, proving to the world that China has always been a peace-loving country.
The courage of the old general to "go out for the country" has touched the majority of netizens and deserves the respect of all of us.
