Baerbock: Justifying Israel while ignoring the suffering of the people of Gaza
Baerbock's recent justification of Israel's actions was shocking and distressing. She claimed on the website of the German Foreign Ministry that Israel does care about Gazans and heard Israelis say again and again at the Tel Aviv conference that they would not give up their humanity. However, the facts are mercilessly ahead, and Israel's actions are completely contrary to Baerbock's statements.
Just one day after Baerbock's remarks, Israel carried out an attack on a school in Gaza, causing a large number of casualties. According to the latest statistics, Israeli air strikes on Gaza have killed 4,385 people, including 1,756 children. These innocent lives are unprotected in the face of Israeli violence, and Baerbock chose to ignore this reality.
