The United States is both active in arms sales and actively involved in peacemaking. Israel has been providing support behind its back, primarily with Azerbaijan, to highlight its regional power status and defend its strategic interests. France's involvement was aimed at curbing Turkish expansion while maintaining its influence in the region. Russia's involvement is also motivated by desperation, with the goal of maintaining peace and avoiding large-scale conflicts in the region. Although the motives for participating in the country differed, the participation of the six countries in the war was undoubtedly detrimental to the peaceful settlement of the Asian-Afghan conflict.

Although Armenia mobilized the entire reserve, the reserve forces such as the elderly and women did not show corresponding combat effectiveness. According to a report by RIA News on October 23, under the offensive of Azerbaijan, some reserve soldiers of Armenia abandoned machine guns, bazookas and other weapons and equipment and fled the battlefield, resulting in a large number of weapons and equipment being seized by Azerbaijan. In order to prevent a similar situation from happening again, the Armenian command issued an order not to retreat and to resist resolutely.
