Google Pixel 8 series officially released: equipped with a new generation of self-developed Tensor G3 core from $699
Fast Technology news on October 5, Google released its new generation of Pixel 8 series new machines last night, launching Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro two models.
Google Pixel 8 series uses Google's latest self-developed chip Google Tensor G3, 9-core CPU design, based on Samsung's 4nm process, consisting of 1 x Cortex-X3, 4× Cortex-A715, 4×Cortex-A510.
Both new machines are equipped with USB 3.2 transmission interface, dual speakers, support Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.3 transmission protocol, and support IP68 level of dust and water.
The Google Pixel 8 comes standard with 8GB of RAM, and the 8 Pro comes standard with 12GB.
In addition to the difference in memory, there are differences in screen, image, battery charging and other aspects.
In terms of screen, Google Pixel 8 uses a 6.2-inch LTPO screen with a resolution of 1080 x 2400, supports 60~120Hz adaptive refresh rate, 2000nit peak brightness, and the screen surface covers Gorilla Glass Victus glass.

In terms of battery and charging, Google Pixel 8 has a built-in 4575mAh battery, supporting up to 27W fast charging and 18W wireless charging, and Google Pixel 8 Pro has a built-in 5050mAh battery, supporting up to 30W fast charging and 23W wireless charging.
In terms of color matching, Google Pixel 8 has three color schemes: fog gray, obsidian black and rose pink, while Pixel 8 Pro has three color schemes: bay blue, obsidian black and ceramic rice.
