On May 10, the Heilongjiang Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs announced that 464 new crop varieties were approved (identified), including 138 corn varieties, 217 rice varieties, 92 soybean varieties, 12 wheat varieties and 5 industrial hemp varieties. In addition, 168 approved varieties such as Bainuo 118 were revoked, and 11 varieties such as Shuangfu 717 were changed to be approved.

The second meeting of the 10th Heilongjiang Provincial Crop Variety Examination and Approval (Identification) Committee approved (identified) 464 new varieties of corn, rice, soybean, wheat, industrial hemp and other crops, including 138 corn varieties, 217 rice varieties, 92 soybean varieties, 12 wheat varieties and 5 industrial hemp varieties. In addition, in accordance with the relevant provisions of the "Seed Law of the People's Republic of China" and the "Measures for the Examination and Approval of Major Crop Varieties", the meeting decided to revoke the approval of 168 approved varieties such as Bainuo 118, and change the approval information of 11 varieties such as Shuangfu 717, which is hereby announced.
From the date of issuance of this notice, the above-mentioned withdrawn varieties will stop seed production and advertising, and stop promotion and sales on July 1, 2025.
