In 1915, the mausoleum project was completed, with a total cost of about 5.51 million taels of silver, and Chongling also became a bright pearl of the imperial mausoleum of the Qing Dynasty.
However, the legend of Chongling does not stop there. In the autumn of 1938, the underground palace was excavated by unknown troops, and traces of the tomb robbery are still preserved. This history adds to the mystery and legend of Chongling.
