This python once took the life of a grandmother who was more than half a hundred years old, but it was not spared death. Local residents chopped it into sections, packed it into woven bags, and buried it in the ground. As for Jahra's body, the family is responsible for burial.
Anto also mentioned that a 27-foot-long python was once found in his village that swallowed two goats, but the python later disappeared, although attempts to capture it were ultimately unsuccessful.
Indonesia's remote forests are home to abundant reticulated pythons, which are believed to be one of the largest snakes in the world in existence. They usually feed on wild animals and occasionally attack humans.
