Ji Ping, president of the Association for Maritime Studies, presided over the meeting. Li Xiaodong, deputy director of the Municipal Taiwan Affairs Office and chairman of the board of supervisors of the Maritime Research Association, attended and participated in the discussion. The meeting listened to the report of Zhao Hongqi, deputy secretary general of the Association for Maritime Studies, on the work in the first half of the year and the key points of work in the second half of the year. The meeting listened to chen Xiaoyong, deputy secretary general of the Association for Maritime Studies, explain the "Suggestions and Plans on Strengthening the Cultivation of Young Talents in Taiwan-related Studies in Shanghai."

Yan Anlin, vice president of the Shanghai Institute of International Studies, Wang Hailiang, deputy director of the Shanghai Institute of East Asian Studies, Ni Yongjie, executive deputy director of the Shanghai Institute of Taiwan Studies, Sheng Jiuyuan, director of the Taiwan Studies Center of the Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences, Li Bi, vice president of the Shanghai Institute of Public Relations, cen E, vice president of the Law School of East China Normal University, and other members of the board of supervisors held heated discussions on the relevant work.

Some deputy secretaries-general of the Association, responsible persons of the research group, and cadres of the Municipal Taiwan Affairs Office attended the meeting as observers.
