On October 5, 2023, an 11.28ct Redion-cut Fancy Vivid blue diamond "Infinite Blue" will be auctioned at Sotheby's Hong Kong with an estimated price of US$26 million to US$37 million, with an average single carat valuation of US$3.28 million.
The 25.73ct rough before cutting the "Infinite Blue" blue diamond was mined by Petra Diamonds from the Cullinan mine in South Africa in September 2020.
According to GIA, the blue diamond achieves the Fancy Vivid Blue Fancy Vivid Blue, a typical Type IIb diamond with intense blue color and perfect cut proportions.

Infinite Blue originated in the legendary Cullinan mine, and even more amazingly, the diamond was found in the same mine as the auction-setting "Josephine's Blue Moon".
