In 1963, Wang Guangjie was admitted to the Railway Engineering College of the Chinese People's Liberation Army majoring in mechanical and electrical engineering, and he sent 15 yuan to his mother every two months, leaving only 5 cents for his own use. In 1968, after graduating from the Railway Corps Engineering College, he was assigned to the army to repair railways, and worked relatively easily as a technical officer responsible for mechanical and electrical maintenance.
University is in turbulent times, and the time to really study is only one year. After graduation, the army was stationed deep in the mountains, and Wang Guangjie asked a carpenter to transform the bullet box into a small table and put it in the tent, and took out the textbook to study the circuit in his spare time. I remember that during the years when he built the railway, he read a lot of books.
