On August 31, Song Zuer was suspected of being reported by former employees for tax evasion under their real names, saying that he had repeatedly evaded personal income tax by splitting contracts and collecting money from private accounts. On September 1, Beijing Satellite TV, Hunan Satellite TV, Zhejiang Satellite TV, Jiangsu Satellite TV, and Anhui Satellite TV have deleted all content related to Song Zuer on Weibo.
At present, Song Zuer has four dramas to be broadcast, involving different video platforms and production companies. Among them are the costume drama "Carefree Du" cooperated with Ren Jialun, produced by iQiyi and expected to be broadcast on iQiyi; the costume drama "Bending the Waist" with Liu Yuning, which is produced by Huanyu Film and Television and broadcast by Tencent Video; the period business war drama "Difficult Manufacturing" cooperated with Zhang Xincheng, Wang Yanlin and others, which is produced by Noon Sunshine and will be broadcast on iQiyi and Tencent Video; and the upcoming youth drama "Huan Yu". If Song Zuer's tax evasion is true, these episodes will be affected.
At present, Song Zuer and his studio have not responded to the rumors. Song Zuer's bar official Bo posted on August 31: "It has been conveyed, please rest assured, this is rumor-mongering, Zuer abides by discipline and law, and follow-up measures are being discussed." In response to the real-name report, some media consulted the official customer service of the State Administration of Taxation, and the other party said that a tax audit would be carried out in the future, and the relevant information would be announced through the official website of the State Administration of Taxation.
