The forces of the nine countries aimed at the South China Sea, and at the critical moment, a chartered plane arrived in Vietnam, followed by the PLA

author:Daeko said

In today's ever-changing international situation, a storm in the South China Sea is brewing full of secret calculations and political games. In recent years, in order to contain China's rise, the United States has not hesitated to use all its power to try to limit China's development by interfering in a series of China-related issues. Recently, the United States has even united eight allies to launch round after round of provocations against China using the South China Sea issue as the starting point.

Recently, the United States has stepped up its involvement in the South China Sea issue, actively guided claimant countries in the South China Sea, such as Vietnam, to frequently create incidents on the South China Sea issue, and strengthened ties with these countries in military and security cooperation. Furthermore, the United States has spared no effort to win over other allies to speak loudly about China on the South China Sea issue. This is happening against a backdrop: the United States and its allies recently gathered in Hiroshima, Japan, for the G7 summit. The G7 leader issued a series of statements on China-related issues, placing the South China Sea issue on one of the agendas. In addition to this, the United States has created a special "military circle" to target China, whose members include the United States, Japan, India and Australia. The small circle also showed a lively stance during the Hiroshima summit, where leaders of the countries met on the sidelines of the summit to take a hard line on issues such as the South China Sea.

On the big stage of international politics, Russia has also quietly appeared. The visit of Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation and First Deputy Chairman of the Military Industrial Committee Dmitry Medvedev to Vietnam undoubtedly adds to the complexity of the entire South China Sea region. Although Medvedev's trip is ostensibly aimed at strengthening relations between Russia and Vietnam, the implication seems to be more far-reaching. Russia has repeatedly expressed its support for resolving the South China Sea dispute through dialogue, stressing that the involvement of extraterritorial forces will only exacerbate tensions. Therefore, Medvedev's trip may be aimed at influencing Vietnam's position on the South China Sea issue through exchanges with Vietnamese leaders, so that it will not be held back by the United States and other Western countries.

In this tension, China is not idle. The Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) sent a warship carrying naval cadets and officers and men to Vietnam for a goodwill visit. The new ocean-going integrated training ship of the Chinese Navy, Qi Jiguang, held a ship opening event in Da Nang, Vietnam, attracting the Vietnamese military, local citizens and overseas Chinese to visit. This move conveyed to the world the confidence and openness of the Chinese navy, and also demonstrated China's firm attitude on the South China Sea issue.

At the same time, Chinese diplomats are also actively cooperating with ASEAN countries. China and ASEAN countries held high-level officials' consultations in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, to discuss a range of issues, including the South China Sea. ASEAN countries expressed their willingness to accelerate consultations on the Code of Conduct in the South China Sea and jointly promote peace, stability and prosperity in the region. This trend of multilateral cooperation provides a positive opportunity for resolving the South China Sea issue.

Generally speaking, in the international political arena, the South China Sea issue is gradually becoming the focus of a struggle. The provocations of the United States and its allies, the involvement of Russia, the persistence of China, and the cooperation of ASEAN countries together form a complex and volatile picture. In this storm, who can really hold the initiative and who will play a key role in this game will affect the future direction of the situation. In any case, all parties need to remain calm and resolve disputes through dialogue and cooperation to ensure peace and stability in the region.
