The whole play takes the memories of the elderly Luo Lili as the fulcrum, telling the story: In June 1940, Comrade Luo Yunpeng, deputy secretary of the Gansu Work Committee of the Communist Party of China, his wife Fan Guiying, and their 8-month-old daughter Luo Lili were arrested and imprisoned. When she was four years old, Xiao Lili picked up a soybean she had never seen before in prison, and she was extremely excited to share this seemingly small happiness with everyone around her, and determined that this was the best thing in the world. In the end, Luo Yunpeng was tortured and sacrificed in prison, and Luo Lili grew stronger under the care of his parents and fellow inmates, and began to grow up in pursuit of freedom and ideals.

The play is supported by the Department of Culture and Tourism of Gansu Province, the Lanzhou Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government, produced by the Lanzhou Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism, and created by the Lanzhou Cultural Development Research Center and the Lanzhou Grand Theater. Accept the red culture in the subtle

That night, the curtain of the performance slowly opened, and a touching story with Luo Lili's memories as the fulcrum was told. In the song of "Soy Ballads" composed by Wang Luobin, people's thoughts are brought into that ancient era across time and space. As the storyline pushes, in the terrifying Dashagou Prison, Xiao Lili slowly feels the power of imagination and learns to find the "true beauty" of cruel life. More importantly, her father Luo Yunpeng gave her the courage to dare to fight against evil forces and the infinite hope and hope for "a brand new China" in the hearts of the communists..."Grow up and rush out of the iron gate, the soybeans of the world belong to you!" As written in this song, in the end, Luo Lili grew stronger under the care of his parents and fellow inmates, and began to grow up in search of freedom and ideals.

During the performance, Wang Luobin's unruly nature, Luo Yunpeng's tenacity and unyielding, and Luo Lili's naïve optimism all left an indelible impression on the audience. In this red classic work, everyone was subtly influenced by the red culture, truly felt the strength and indomitability of generations of Chinese communists, rooted the red spirit in the heart of every child, and let the red gene be passed on quietly.

"Xiao Lili can't eat anything in prison, soybeans have become the most delicious thing in her heart, and we can have whatever we want, our happy life today is bought by revolutionary martyrs with their lives and blood, we must remember history and cherish today's happy life." After watching the performance, Zhao Yu, a 10-year-old young audience, told reporters excitedly: "I watched the performance while crying, and it was really pitiful to see the childhood radish head living hard in prison and losing his relatives!" ”
