Whoever commits a crime by using a corpse shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not less than six months but not more than five years. The court held that the crimes of forced sexual intercourse, forced sexual intercourse causing intentional homicide, serious injury, and assault on corpses were established, and Chen was sentenced to death. Chen appealed against the first-instance judgment. The second state found the first-instance judgment reasonable and dismissed Chen's appeal.
It is human nature to like good, beautiful people. But like Mr. Chen, it is not recommended to take extreme measures to satisfy one's own selfish desires. Chen's paranoid and selfish desires killed Gao and eventually himself.
