In 1919, Dai Jingyuan was born in Fujian, just after the outbreak of the May Fourth Movement, many revolutionaries, students and workers went on strike.
He joined the Communist Youth League at the age of 9, and at the age of 10, he officially became a member of the Communist Party, and later became the youngest county party secretary, and Dai Jingyuan's outstanding performance from a rural area made him deeply trusted by the organization, and gradually the organization began to find that Dai Jingyuan was still a smart and talented child.

Fortunately, Dai Jingyuan was reformed and willing to obey the arrangements of his superiors, and he was assigned to a remote area as a soldier, experiencing the poor peasant life there, receiving ideological education and reform.
However, two years later, when the mainland decided to send troops to aid North Korea, the CIA obtained a letter of information about the US military that needed professional intelligence technicians to decipher it, at which time Zhou Gong and Marshal Nie thought of Dai Jingyuan at the same time, and then proposed to Chairman Mao.
