Gu Long (1938~1985), formerly known as Xiong Yaohua, pen name Gu Long, born in Nanchang, Jiangxi, Han ethnicity, born in Hong Kong. Graduated from Tamkang University in Taiwan. A famous Chinese martial arts novelist, together with Jin Yong, Liang Yusheng and Wen Ruian, he is known as the four masters of Chinese martial arts novels.
